Hood River Hotel

Easy walking to restaurant, pubs and many family friendly adventures. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was fine. The beds were comfortable enough and the shower okay. BUT the NOISE was terrible. And not the noise of an old hotel with creaky floors, which I can deal with - but the noise from the bar next door. WOW. We were at the end of the hotel, the part that butts right up to the building next door and, on a Monday night, the bar was playing music SO LOUD we could feel the vibrations in our bed. I'm sorry, but complimentary earplugs don't cut it then. The music was playing at full blast until 2am. It was ridiculous. Thank goodness our kid managed to sleep through it, but we were wrecks the next day. Completely ruined our evening, the next day, and our overall experience at the hotel. The front desk worker and manager I spoke to the next day were very apologetic and nice about. This is clearly an issue they have hear regularly. While the hotel was nice enough, we will not stay here again and I will not recommend it to others.
