Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bend South, an IHG Hotel

Easy on/easy off Hwy 97. Clean, spacious room for 6. But there were 6 of us & only 4 towels & 2 washcloths. Also, couch pulled out for our 2 grandson's bed but no bed linen in room for couch bed. So...grandpa had to go down for linens, towels, washcloths. Breakfast was good. Waffle maker out of commission, which the grandkids always enjoyed. Other than those things, great stay!

This hotel is amazing! I always stay here on my way to visit family because they are always so clean and kind. I love that they are pet friendly and their morning breakfasts are always so fresh and yummy! My kids love it too!

This was a fantastic place to stay with my family n for our Oregon trip! The suite was a decent size and slept all 6 of us just fine. The front desk was very kind and helped us get linens quickly for the couch fold out bed. The pool is very small, but worked great for us, as no one was swimming when we were. The breakfast was awesome, probably one of the best we’ve had at a hotel. Would happily stay again!

The hotel was very clean. Smelled clean and looked clean. It was very quiet, and fit our family of 5 well. The breakfast had a lot of good choices but it wasn't always full. The workers were doing their best at filling it though. The pool was small but warm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go there again!

Pull out bed was awful. We had kids but I ended up sleeping on the pullout with one of them. I haven't slept on one in 30 years and apparently nothing has changed. Would have preferred an inflatable one or even a camping style mattress pad.

Everything was great except for when my husband to our 4 children down for the free breakfast. The hot food was basically gone at 9:15 despite being told that breakfast was supposed to be served until 9:30. There were 20 people there to eat but the staff argued with my husband that it was already 9:10 and they didn't know all these people were going to come to eat so late. The buffet tha was serving link sausage, hasbrowns, eggs, and turkey sausage only had eggs. The staff pointed out that they had eggs, to which I agreed. A few other families also were coming in. One of the staffbsaid that she would bring out sausage and omelettes which they did at 9:25. I thanked her, but later, when my kids went to get some sausage, they overheard the staff complaining about me. Again it is a nice place and we would stay here again, but it would be great if breakfast items were available till the end of breakfast. Do you think this is reasonable?

Loved the convenient location. Nice hotel and pool for the kids. The included breakfast was good.

Upon arrival in our room, it smelled awful. The smell was like several wet dogs had recently stayed there. To make things much worse, withing the first 60 seconds of being in our room, we saw our 18 month old pick something up off the ground and start to put it in her mouth. My wife stopped her and found a pill in her hand. I looked it up from the markings on it, and it was a trazadone, which would have definitely put my 20 lb child in the hospital. It was out in the open on the floor so that made me question whether the room was vacuumed and what else wasnt clean. Finally, the room was very noisy. Late into the night we could hear what sounded like the people above us stomping around and jumping up and down- perhaps there were children up there. Needless to say, around 1:00 am the Boise from above us woke the baby. So, being very tired and frustrated, we loaded up and hit the road by 200 am to our next destination. I definitely won’t be visiting this location again and will likely refrain from any other Holiday Inns.

We arrived later than we had hoped after driving for 13 hours. We needed to get check in and the kids to bed fast. The gentleman at the desk was incredibly helpful, even pushed a luggage cart out the door for us! The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean, we would definitely stay here again!

We checked in very late, around midnight and the gentlemen (there was 2) helping us check in for more than accommodating and so incredibly helpful! This place is a gem!! Especially when you’re traveling with children!
