Courtyard by Marriott Akron Stow

We travel a lot and this by far was the best experience we’ve had. Staff was amazing. Any question I had or anything I needed they were there to help. The water pressure for the showers were absolutely amazing.The kids loved the pool. They were cleaning the hot tub during our stay which was a bummer but it’s definitely nice to see it gets cleaned. I will definitely be back. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

I stayed two nights there. I was in the second floor. The elevator was ok but the floor carpet in the elevator and in the second floor hallway had a very dirty look. Soo much stains on the floor! It smelled like skunk in the hallway. My room had an unpleasant odor. I am not smoker and suffer from allergies. I had multiple episodes of cough and had to take meds for that. There were tiny soaps and shampoo items in room. The decor was less than satisfactory. (My family stayed in this hotel chain, a few times, when my children were in colleges. I never had less than excellent experiences those hotels before).This time, I was shocked with the deteriorating conditions that I saw and experienced in snd around my room. I want to give high marks to the late night desk person for his politeness and his going out of his way to help me when I was leaving early in the morning. Thank you! Sorry cannot recall his name.

We decided to do a an adventure with our kids so they could swim, couldn’t have picked a better place. Staff was friendly and accommodating!

By look unit was ok, but the room was very smelly, couldn't even sleep due to the smell, and on top of that in the morning we have seen bed bug on the bed next to my kid, it was so scary, I just captured that somehow and flushed that in the toilet. I took pictures and video and shown to the desk representative, they said they will inspect the room and call me, and they called me and said we did not see anything so there is nothing we can do for your inconvenience. So showing them video and picture didn't make any difference, they were expecting me to keep that bed bug alive there and show them. how bad... After seeing good reviews I booked this hotel but had a very terrifying experience first with the room and then with management. don't recommend it to friends and family.
