Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls

The room had an old smoke smell to it and they have an entire family of huge ass spiders in the room. I was not happy about this stay and I’ve always enjoyed this hotel.

Staff was helpful and considerate. The bar area was a lot of fun.! we had a family function in a private room with food. The food was very good. Everybody enjoyed it.

Beautiful property but the morning breakfast was unavailable to us, the help immediately cut us off, from letting them know we were staying there. Then we were going to swim and the entire area was full of people and kids running around, being rude, loud, cussing, while the adults were doing NOTHING about it!! Then we go to the sauna and had a towel around me, the kids came in and out over and over, when they were to young to be in there in the beginning, while the adults, once again, doing NOTHING to control their kids, within no time the police open the sauna door said there was a complaint that a female was showing her breast ir the kids...Are you Fking Serious!! These lying Ass Kids!! If that would of been me, I'd of went in there to see for myself!! I was so ashamed and embarrassed that it put damper on our Thanksgiving weekend away. Just so you know, I had a bikini on under the towel but the Police wouldn't let me or my Husband say any thing in our defense, just say get out of the sauna. I do have to consider the source of EVERYONE that was in the pool area!! So needless to say I'll NEVER be back..I feel so violated..

There were two reasons I booked a room here. I wanted a view of the river from my room, which I got. I wanted to share the experience with my kid that I had with my parents of eating in the glass dinking area on the river. The kitchen was flooded and was closed. After talking to maintenance, who came to fix the shower that wouldn’t shut off, I was told that the kitchen grease drain system was often backed up and flooded the kitchen. If the kitchen to your hotel that FEATURES a dining experience on the river is closed, you have lost half the reason for staying there! I hyped up to my young adult kids the great experience we were going to have, and we were let down. Fix it or you will end up closing

Beautiful spacious room with sliding doors between the living room and bedroom for privacy and two TVs. Comfy bed and pillows. The pool was awesome. (We have two boys, and a good pool makes or breaks our overnight stays). There was also a sauna next to the pool, which made Mom very happy. Lots of local food dining near the property. Our suite had a view of the river rapids, too. The hotel felt classy and special for this small-town family -- an elevated experience.

This hotel is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately they seemed understaffed. The only person working the front desk was trying really hard. The first room we were give was occupied. Oops! The second was nice, but there was a used wash cloth hanging from the shower bar and itcould use a deep clean. We stayed here for the pool to help entertain our kid. The pool needs renovations. There's pealing paint and no one had been around to pick up towels or garbage. The water was cloudy. It seems like the management is either short staffed or needs to pay better attention to detail. I wanted to love this place for the amazing views of the water fall.

Although this hotel could use some updates, we enjoy staying here when visiting family from out of town. The downtown area has a lot to offer in a very walkable community.
