Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Springfield, OH

We stayed in a lovely suite. It was very comfortable with a very nice sitting area for visiting with family.

We’ve stayed here several times when visiting family in Springfield so we knew what to expect- a large, clean room, free hot breakfast and a warm indoor pool! We greatly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and there were lots of options and clean places to sit. There was free coffee/tea all day, including cookies in the afternoon. Check in and out was easy. The hotel is currently getting a refresh- half the building was under renovations during our stay, but the workers were conscientious of the guests and the sound wasn’t too bad. There are tons of places to eat nearby, including a new sports bar within walking distance. We’ll be back!

This place is a keeper on my list for stays. Slept like a baby! There were absolutely no issues and quiet as a mouse.

Good location, close to airport, and convention center, but pool was closed for renovations so the kids were disappointed.

This was our third stay here and one of our favorites to date. We enjoyed our clean, spacious suite and fresh hot breakfast each morning. The desk staff were all very nice and helpful and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The location is convenient to several dining options and shops. We’ll be back when we’re in Springfield again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was non-smoking, very clean and services were excellent. The breakfast, pool and exercise room were huge pluses. We will stay here again when visiting our family.

Our stay was simply wonderful. The front desk staff was so friendly and accommodating. Always there to answer questions or help when our rook key would demagnetize. We needed to upgrade bc we ended up needing a little more room and they were able to make it happen for us with no problem. Rooms were nice and beds were really comfortable. We sometimes struggle to get comfortable when we travel but it was not a problem here and everyone woke rested and ready for the day. My boys loved the indoor pool. It was small but it was just enough for them and there were other kids there for them to play with. I also wanted to mention breakfast. Coffee was really good and even satisfied my picky hubby. Breakfast got the job done and the bacon was cooked PERFECTLY. Location was great, exactly where we wanted to be, close to family and easy access to the freeway/highway. I would definitely stay again and look forward to returning.

The pool was closed. Front desk staff kept saying it would open the next day but it didn’t. Very disappointing for kids on vacation

My family was charged for an extra room. Expedia, Hotels.com and this property all wanted their extra $167 so badly they were willing to lie and deny that they could have made a mistake. Instead my family gets charged and all they offer is $50 credit after 90 minutes on the phone.

As a woman traveling alone with a child I did not feel particularly safe. Parking was limited and the surrounding area was not well-lit. There were guests propping the emergency exit doors open to smoke and the window of our first floor room had the lock removed. The woman working the desk was incredibly helpful when I explained the safety concerns and moved us to the third floor, which I greatly appreciated. I would have preferred a little heavier bedding, such as a comforter or a blanket in the closet to use, rather than just multiple sheets. Overall, the were some positives, but safety concerns will prevent me from booking here in the future.
