In town visiting family and working. Recently moved from Huber to NC. I never had any reasons to stay at the hotel when it was built so I was happy to see how nice this place is in my home city. Clean, comfy, friendly staff. Food was good. Anyone visiting, great location.

I loved the entire staff. I use a cane. Everyone went out of their way to help me. The desk staff, greeted us like we were family. The place is so clean and they accepted our cats with open arms. The only complaint was the broken coffee machine and I know it wasn’t anyone’s fault. I will return!

I’ll begin by saying that I love this property. It is about a 100 yard walk from an excellent outdoor concert venue, Rose Music Center. This is the second time I stayed here. When I was asked by this site how my check in went, I responded “Terrible”. I arrived at 4:15 pm to a lobby full of people waiting to get into rooms that hadn’t been cleaned yet. We went to dinner, came back, and there still wasn’t a room available. We walked over to the concert venue at 6:30 pm, still not knowing if we would have a room. After the show, at 10:30 pm, we were finally given our room key. With that said, the staff, especially Mike and Angel, did a phenomenal job at accommodating everyone. The hotel was especially busy this weekend with a concert on Friday night, the Dayton Air Show all weekend, and the concert we attended on Sunday night. Normally on a Sunday, lots of checkouts in the morning and not as many reservations for that evening. But with the concert that night, they were overwhelmed. One employee even came in on her day off, with her kid in tow, to help get the rooms cleaned. This property has a high standard for cleanliness, so I can see why it took so long for all the rooms that were needed to be cleaned. Hats off to the remarkable staff at this hotel for going above and beyond. Sure, it was an inconvenience not to have a room when we arrived, and it would have been nice to relax in the room for a bit before the show. But, it all worked out in the end.

Clean and safe place to stay. The only glitch we had was when we came back after a family gathering at 11:30 at night we could not get into the hotel. Our card key had failed and I had to walk around to the lobby side to get in. Staff promptly reset our card key and I walked back around where I had left my husband and cooler and some other things.
