Room was clean and ready when we got there. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and splash pad are exceptionally cold and the pool bathroom isn’t baby friendly. No changing area or trash can for diaper change.

It’s a very standard family park hotel. The rooms are exceptionally small however every park hotel seems to maximize their number of rooms by limiting space. Fairly priced. Nothing exceptional and no real complaints just noisy but again it’s exactly what I expect.

Large outdoor pool area. No food on site. Would be nice to have breakfast before going to Cedar Point instead of driving into town. Very noisy with kids running and screaming.

We stayed at this property for two nights while attending an event at the sports complex nearby. The entire hotel was flooded with tons of loud and noisy kids who were running up and down the halls and swearing half of the night. While we were gone throughout the LONG day at the event, we did not receive any cleaning service whatsoever. When we returned we realized no one had come to our room to make the beds, replenish the towels, or freshen up the room whatsoever. When we called down to the front desk, they said we had to specifically request maid service if we wanted it. This was NEVER told to us and not written anywhere on any of the documents we found in the room. When we requested at least a few more towels so we could finally shower after a long day, we waited over an hour and no one came. We then had to call the front desk again to request towels and they said the staff was too busy and now on their lunch break…this was at 9:30 PM. Finally, after another 15 minutes, someone did arrive with towels and almost seemed disappointed to not be getting a tip. Unless forced (due to another sporting event) I never would come here again. I understand it is near Cedar point and very expensive due to it being peak season. I also understand that staffing is an issue for lots of businesses. However, when I’m going to spend over $700 for a hotel for 2 nights, I would at least expect my room to be cleaned in the very least OR to be clearly told, we had to request the service.

The property is like a Holiday Inn with more kiddie options during the warm months. The hotel does not have food or a bar and it is not within walking distance of a restaurant other than McDonalds and Dairy Queen. It's about a 5-mile drive to the nearest sit-down restaurants. There is no lobby with seating, coffee or water. You can buy over-priced coffee and water at a hotel gift shop that only takes cards, no cash. The staff was friendly at the front desk, and the maid service was outstanding.

This was a pretty nice place to stay. It was easy to find, park, and leave. I gave 4/5 on cleanliness only because the undermount bathroom sink needed scrubbed under the rim. Otherwise, the room was clean. I even did the barefoot test on the carpet and hard floor for stickiness - none! All good! The room was VERY quiet which was a pleasant surprise after seeing the herd of children in the lobby during check in. Check in process was painless and the employee was friendly and helpful. Used the free passes to access Cedar Point amusement park an hour early as a perk of staying at a park affiliated property. That perk was a great experience! I would not only stay here again, but would also recommend the property to friends of all ages, with or without children/grandchildren, when spending a day or more at Cedar Point.
