reserved and paid for a 1 bedroom suite, on check in was given a studio. when i called about this Conner-desk clerk-- said they were overbooked and these things happen. i was not happy. conner called my room and said his manager was taking $30 a night off (Smaller room than i paid for --gee thanks ) but i would have to call expedia--their mistake, i have to do their clerical their clerical work for them, again not happy. i called expeida who called the hotel and Conner said they would knock $103.20 off the bill--note $30 per night x 4 nights equals not $103.20. after Conner was called on this he did deduct $120. off the bill. i felt like there was bait and switch at the front desk--downsized at check in with Conner not volunteering to pay the difference in what i received for my room. after the manger told him what to deduct, he couldn't get that right. i am really NOT happy with my experience there. unfortunately i was in ohio for a death in the family and really did not need this.

Terrible! Drove over an hour for family wedding! Paid in advance for suite for my sister and I across from wedding venue. Receive confirmation at booking and day of wedding. Got to hotel and told they overbooked and tried to send us to another hotel 40+ Minutes away! General manager would not even come to desk to explain why we didn’t even get a courtesy call before taking this drive! Absolutely no excuse for this.

We stayed two nights. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and nice. After the first night though, we went to an event the next day, and came back that evening to an untouched/uncleaned room. Had to ask for some more towels. Breakfast was definitely the worst part. No cereal for my kid first morning. Very little hot choices second morning. Only decaf available for a long while, but no coffee cups. I tried to help an older gentleman who was unable to get syrup for his waffle. Breakfast just not well done.

The pictures show a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, in reality this hotel is very old and worn out and needs a remodel. The carpets were stained and shredded at the seams, the trim in the bathroom had been chewed up and scratched by a previous dog and then painted over. The couch fabric was dirty, the entire suite was not clean. I can understand that not all hotels can be brand new, but this one is 15 years past needing a renovation!! The good: The staff was friendly & polite and the breakfast was actually very good. The bad: Dirty, old, worst part was our heat did not work in our room so I woke up at 4:30am and my room was 53 degrees!! My kids were shaking it was SO cold!! When I asked for extra blankets they offered a $30 credit for the inconvenience. I called subsequently the following week and got one of my two nights refunded. Pick another hotel, this one is a pass unless you are traveling with a pet and want an alternative to sleeping in your car.

Terrible. Was driving from Maryland to Iowa and this was the only pet-friendly hotel I could find for my family of four and two dogs. We checked in after midnight and while the room was spacious, it was apparent immediately that the bed linen had not been changed. There were fresh stains, hair, food crumbs and just plain nastiness. Being thoroughly exhausted and without the energy to move, we laid towels down and slept. But did take time stamped photographs. Next morning, the checkout desk didn’t seem overly surprised (is probably not a new occurrence there) but offered a “50% refund”. Needless to say, still have not seen it. I’m a Marriott gold member and this was the WORST property I have ever stayed at…and especially with all the promise of cleanliness during the pandemic, it is just disgusting.
