Hampton Inn & Suites Sandusky/Milan

everything was wonderful, a lot of the hotels in the Sandusky area are not always up to par. Mostly due to families staying there for Cedar Point, but this one is consistently clean and well kept.

Had two issues: Due to a basketball tournament the hotel had a plethora of young kids booked. They came out around 11pm on the 4th floor and for whatever reason had to talk loud and bang doors until about 1:30am. I sent a text to the hotel but nothing was done. Also had an issue with the hand-held wand shower would not shut off when using the overhead shower. The hotel gave us the disability suite so while showering we had both going and spraying all over. Not a great experience.

My family stayed here (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids) recently for an overnight trip to Cedar Point. Easy drive to CP. Great that we could book one room for all of us (2 queen beds and 1 pull out sofa). Very clean, very quiet, nicely updated and spacious. Good blackout curtains and safe area. Super kind staff and an abundant and fantastic breakfast. I'm choosy, I read reviews, and this hotel didn't disappoint at all. Glad we chose this place. We will book again!

The check-in staff were really friendly, helpful, and efficient -- really top notch. The pool and hot tub was salt water and really nice. We had a studio with two queens and a fold out sofa -- the room had tons of space for our family of 5 including a long desk that was perfect for eating our dinner. It was a little hard to figure out the TV with two remotes, but that was no big deal. Also it was super clean and quiet. Great sleeping here!!

My family and I loved that there was a safe clean environment.

We were traveling with 3 toddlers and the room was more than big enough to not feel cramped. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything felt clean.

Booked this last minute. Was pleasantly surprised. 6 of us alept comfortably in a suit. The cost was $100 less than the me t cheapest and the free breakintje morning was vood enough for 2 adults and 4 kids.

So I liked that the property was a little bit off the beaten path the road to get to that property was a little odd to find so we did pass initially but it was a nice big parking lot with a lot of parking. The inside of the hotel was clean it smelled clean it was very inviting. Initially I met with Jim at the front desk he checked me in he made it very clear that we should not use any type of expedia's or traveling sites and we should go directly through the hotels for better information and of course better perks even though we have to pay more the rates weren't better. We were not told that the pool was closed and the hot tub was closed we were not happy about that one of the reasons why we picked this hotel was for the pool and the hot tub so this was very inconvenient since this was my 14-year-old's birthday and we stayed here for two nights. One of his friends tried to stop the door at the elevator the door continued on and actually pinned his hand we did panic we were able to get his hand out but Jim the night deskman did not make it a point to rush over to help he quietly and slowly came to see if things were okay but actually didn't even ask if things were okay just said that these old elevators don't have the sensors that the new elevators have and you have to be more careful very alarming what would have happened if I couldn't have gotten this child's hand out from the elevator door? Anyway long story short room was very small breakfast area was okay.

This Hotel was perfect for our family of 6, two Queen beds and a pull out couch. a wet bar oppisite of the bathroom. plenty of space. Yummy breakfast, nice pool and hot tub, except way too much chlorine. Bleached out my swim shorts from black to brown.
