Hampton Inn & Suites Dayton-Airport

The front desk and breakfast attendants were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. We had a room with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa and while huge, no one should be sleeping on that sofa. It was AWFUL. Even my kids could feel the bars. Like, I never expect it to be super comfy, but this was unacceptable. The queen beds were a little too firm, but okay. I did notice they don’t have the mattress zipped up in a cover and I do agree that the sheets were on the verge of coming off, but ours stayed on. The road noise rarely bothered us, you only could hear it occasionally. We never heard our neighbors, but we were there during the week. I appreciated the water dispenser and plate of cookies that was always out. The indoor pool was unsafe. The room reeked of chlorine and I wouldn’t let my kids stay long. It was so overly chlorinated that my kids’ suits smelled of chlorine the next morning after they dried. Very disappointing. Probably will stay elsewhere next time we come due to the above issues.

When visiting family in the Englewood area, we have stayed at this hotel before. We will continue to stay at this hotel. Overall, the hotel is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel floors were dirtier than I remembered before; they could use a deep vacuum. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

The hotel's location is well-suited for exhausted drivers coming from I-70. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and our family greatly appreciated the tranquility of the room (two queen bed). However, it's worth noting that the breakfast offered was disappointing.

Booked this hotel while on a road trip with my kids. We arrived late and exhausted after a full day of me being the only driver and looking forward to a good sleep before continuing our journey. The rooms were clean, and beds were comfy, but unfortunately there was a large group of people in the parking lot with a “party RV” of some sort. Our room was almost directly above them and I could hear them until long after midnight. It was pretty frustrating and made the next day pretty difficult as I drove another 10 hours.

We always stay here when visiting family in this area. I was a little shocked at the condition of the room. Cloth chair by the tv had stains all over it. It made you feel like everything was dirty. Service was good but for the price of the stay, I was disappointed in the room.

There are very good things going for this Hampton Inn. The staff was quite nice but the facility is in poor shape. The noise from the highway nearby made you feel you were sleeping in a ditch right next to the freeway. Further there was construction next door past the 7PM we were told that they would stop. May be this hotel should invest in better windows. I specifically chose this hotel because it had a gym and when I got there it was closed along with the pool. May be put that in the description because I needed the gym to help me deal with a very stressful family issue. All around I am very disappointed with this Hampton Inn and I will spend the extra few dollars to stay at a Marriott.

The suite rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I ended up getting a third suite to accommodate more family and for privacy/comfort. The staff was exceptional, especially Zion at the front desk. .Her service was superior! The rooms were clean although one wreaked of bleach and the mirrors were streaked. We had quite a bit of difficulty with our keys. One room was not able to be opened even by the front desk. The pool and fitness room were closed for renovation and this was not acceptable. This should be posted before booking so that consumers are aware and can seek alternatives. Overall, I'd recommend this site and I will go again if my first and second choices are not available.

It was a very nice stay. Grandkids loved the pool.

I booked a 1 bedroom, 2 queen bed room. I got a king. Thankfully, the couch folded out and I was given a cot with a mattress. I was told because I wasn’t a rewards member that this is what they had for us. Staff couldn’t get our requests for more linens right, had to request more for the 2nd night since no housekeeping came in, dirty curtains, TV guide was terrible, breakfast fruits were overripe, ran out of towels (which were small) in the pool, and no hand towel rack in the bathroom at the sink. Rest of the experience was ok, but I would not recommend this hotel. My family was basically punished for not traveling much. Was upset we didn’t get what was confirmed we were getting. We did have enough beds which was ok.

We couldn't get soap the entire weekend we stayed there. The carpet needed shampooing or replacing. My cousin's little boy came for a visit, took off his shoes and his white socks turned gray. We did not receive the room I booked online. I booked a large King size bed with a pullout sofa and received only a standard King room with no pull-out. We were told that was the only room they had to give us and no trades were possible. When I inquired about a roll away bed, the desk said it was a fire hazard, but they ended up bringing it to us anyway. No housekeeping at all during our stay. Housekeeping could only clean the rooms that were being checked out. They stated they can't get any help because McDonalds is paying $15 an hour to flip burgers. All in all, I would have liked to stay somewhere else, but my entire family stayed here because we were there for a memorial service. Hot breakfast was good, but some guests were obviously hoarding items. This hotel is not up to the Hilton standard.
