We went to Bismark for a family weekend getaway and chose this hotel with an expectation of relaxing in the evenings with a hot tub soak and pool. Both were very poor and the condition of the entire pool room was very poor. Hot tub wasn't operational. Certainly did not reflect the photos in the advertisement. Staff was good. Location was very good. Rooms were okay, dated but clean. Bismark is a great clean small city with all the amenties needed.

The front desk was wonderful! I called ahead and they had a roll away bed all set in the room for us when we arrived. We had to leave at 4:30 am in the morning and they had grab and go breakfast ready for us so our kids could grab a bite to eat.

Gross rooms, checked in at 5 and they said are room wasn't ready yet, but it would be ready in 1/2 hour. We went to dinner and came back two hours later and our room still wasn't ready. They either have our room away to someone else or moved us to the bottom of the wait list because we left. I had to stand in the lobby and wait for my room with a toddler and a baby. Then I get to my room and there are nasty stains all of the bathroom wall.

The property is getting extremely dated. There is a sign by the elevator stating "For your safety, no more than 2 people or a family at one time". The lurching it does between floors is concerning to say the least. Had to have our room key reprogrammed after one use ALL weekend long and we were on the third floor. Can't access the building from the two end exits because the security doors do not read room cards. The one upside, the lady handling the morning breakfast is a delight and an asset to this hotel. There are so many other hotels to choose from in a one block radius I would never stay at this location again.
