GrandStay Hotel and Suites

Grand Stay was a very quiet hotel. My kids adored the random snacks in the entry and the breakfast was good. The rooms were a bit small and the lighting in the room was terrible. The pool was very strong with chemical. It made made everyone cough after a short time and actually damaged my young daughters hair.

Overall I was pleased with our stay. One reason we chose GrandStay was the pool & hot tub. They were both closed a couple times for maintenance which was unfortunate and difficult for my children to understand.

Elevator was broken and we were on the third floor with small children and large suitcases for a ten day trip. Front desk personnel was not helpful or friendly. I asked for a roll away bed as advertised and they did not have any. Hot tub was very dirty. It is a nice facility with large updated rooms. It appears better management and maintenance would be beneficial.

I liked the little touches such as a special gift for parents leaving their college kids, very kind. I also liked the added snacks by the front counter throughout the day. Breakfast was good except the lady in Sunday stopped putting food out and no hot food was available from 9:20-10 but sign posted breakfast was until 10:00. Monday lady did put out hot food and it was good.

It was good, there was some kids running around for awhile (full house, busy night!) but for the most part it was quiet

Absolute best hotel we experienced in a small hometown setting to stay at while we attended a wedding near by! The breakfast selections were great, the deluxe king suite was just want we needed for our family of 4. Cant forget a inside pool, hot tub and fire pit with patio seats outside as well!

Great buffet each morning, and the cafe was always clean and food was stocked. Friendly staff, too. The ONLY reason stay wasn’t rated higher was the ‘suite’ we stayed in had no dresser in the bedroom to put our clothes and the pullout bed in living area blocked access to the inky dresser in the room. Also, the pill out bed was only big enough for one of my kids. Fortunately, only one of them came in this trip. Had we had both kids, they would not have been able to sleep comfortably in the same bed. Also, the refrigerator in the room didn’t keep thing cool (found this out after we put leftovers in there). Had to pull out fridge and plug into a different outlet.
