Springhill Suites by Marriott Wilmington Mayfaire

A good hotel, but the front desk staff was unengaged and seemed to just want to get rid of us. The room was nice and the breakfast was ok. Clean and tidy looking hotel with a little, fresh gym and a small outdoor pool with a fountain for kids.

I’m disappointed with Expedia. I made arrangements to attend the hotel property and North Carolina. For a price of $109 per day. I was only going for the weekend. Expedia I made arrangements for me a month ahead of time instead of the month and date I requested. The cost for me to stay became double. Stood at only offers room service for making the bed cleaning the bathroom vacuuming every other day. As well as towels. There are no amenities in the room they gave you shampoo, conditioner, and soap. No glasses they claimed they do a lot but they do less. The coffee pot look like a children’s coffee pot, it would be impossible to handle. The only thing I could say about the hotel the breakfast brunch was good and staff members were nice. For the amount of money I had to paid due to Expedia. I would never use them again nor would I ever use this hotel again. It’s not cheap people, but Expedia makes you believe it is and then makes you feel you made the mistake with the booking and to see that you paid double for the hotel when you attend.

The hotel was super clean. The breakfast had a variety of food for my entire family and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was located near a good amount of restaurants if you decide to go eat out.

When I first made my reservation, I ask for a room on the very top level, but didn't get it. My wife and I had to deal with children running at night over our room. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk the next morning but nothing changed. Again we had to deal with it again the following night. I was very, very displeased, and my wife and I did not get any rest that weekend.

I enjoyed my stay here as well as my family. I think the only thing I would suggest is they get a pest control company to spray the facility. During my stay, there was a thumb sized roach crawling around on my floor and my infant was crawling around (EEK). I killed it and flushed the darn thing so that is one less bug there (yay). Also, we did not receive room service during our stay which resulted in using damp towels repeatedly. These aren’t HUGE issues but just something to address. Aside from that, staff was welcoming! The breakfast / coffee was DELICIOUS and very satisfying. I would for sure stay there again.

Great hotel and great staff. We had 2 adults and 3 kids traveling and the room was plenty big. The walk in closet was awesome and provided plenty of space to keep your luggage out of the way.
