Staybridge Suites Jacksonville - Camp Lejeune Area, an IHG Hotel

Maria at staybridge provided my family with the best customer service ever, very professional and made sure that we had all the information needed.

We stayed here about 7 years ago and went out of our way to make sure we booked here again for our trip this year. You can tell how much care and pride has gone into maintaining the rooms and property to the highest standards. While the decor and fixtures havnt been updated much if at all since we've been, everything has a feel of just recently completing a major renovation because of how well it is maintained. The lobby and common areas are sharp but still have a cozy and warm atmosphere. Whether youre going for a long weekend as a couple or family, or an extended business trip this place is worth the minimal extra few dollars youll spend on your reservation compared to some of the local competitors. We had a handicap accessible room and while everything was accessible from a wheel chair position, the shower only had grab bars in the low/seated position and the tub itself was a regular basin. So if you are in a wheel chair full time, keep this in mind for transferring purposes, but if you have moderate mobility and use a combination of mobility aids, you may need to coordinate further with reception. 10/10 highly reccomend and we will always stay here when coming to the area.

Pleasantly surprised with the room. Nice size room for family. Kitchen and living room area. Also provided free reception in evening with free breakfast in the morning. Hotel felt safe and clean. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The hotel and food was amazing!! The staff(Chiquita) was absolutely the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. I stayed in room 239 and the people who stayed in 339, were the most inconsiderate folks ever. They ran around all night, which made it hard to sleep from the kids jumping around. Going forward, put people with kids on the bottom floor.

I went to this area for my son's graduation from MCT at Camp Geiger. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Hotel was an easy ride to Camp Geiger. All my son wanted from home was my homemade sausage and peppers. I pre made everything at home for sandwiches. Was looking forward to bringing them to him for family day. When I used the microwave it started smoking so badly the fire department was called and we had to evacuate. Everything was ruined. We had to buy dinner on base which was Wendy's not a homemade meal. I asked that someone contact me regarding the status of my room and never got a call from the front desk. I called twice and got no answer. When we returned they said I could stay in the room or be moved to another. When we got back in the room the window that the fire department moved was not back in place. A cheap box fan was running and very loud and no one had come in to put things back in order. The room did have a residual smell but we were so tired we didn't want to have to move everything. My 87 year old mother has asthma and did have a sore throat and no one ever asked if we were ok. I didn't want to complain at the time but I feel I should have been offered a comp for that evening. There were 2 microwaves in the room. No signs on which one to use and it wasn't my fault that this occurred. I really feel someone should have called me back from the front desk after all of this.

The people made this fine hotel great. Carter had trouble with our credit card while confirming our reservation and called us to get it fixed. Natalie was also very helpful - and we were still on the way to the hotel. This care for guests continued as the staff greeted guests and were always helpful. While elderly, the hotel is in process of renovation and those workers were similarly pleasant. It is comfortable and offers a very nice breakfast and a happy hour- dinner three nights (we were visiting family so we did not take part). Our stay was mist pleasant and we thank them for all they did for us. (This is the first time I’ve had occasion to be so effusive for a hotel and we often stay in much fancier and expensive places but this hotel and these people deserve to be highlighted).

We had a great time & had plenty of space for our family & dog. The room was very nice, clean & spacious. We all felt at home while being away. It was a great home away from home. Highly recommend & will come back next trip!
