Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Camp Lejeune/Jacksonville

We only stayed over night but the staff here made us feel like family. We stayed here on our way to drop our son off to his next schooling with the Marines. They were so accommodating, gave us a late check out, and even after we checked out let us come back and opened a room so our son could change into his uniform. When you do training this needs to be the staff that does the training. Everyone we encountered during our time here has been so welcoming and making sure all of our needs are met. We WILL definitely be back to stay here given the opportunity. Thank you.

no hot breakfast (make your own waffles but rest wasn’t available), no hot water x2 days, broken desk phone charger…told front desk day 1 but wasn’t repaired. sad bc this was my go-to when visiting family in Jacksonville

It's a great hotel for the price. Clean, friendly, off the main road - nothing fancy but all I need. Have stayed here several times while visiting family,

My 1st time in Jacksonville and at Microtel. Really surprised at this micro hotel. My room with goodsized fridge, easy microwave, lovely bathroom (great faucet), crisp bed, pleasantly temperatured air, nice bed lamps with usb ports. I mean they had everything i like. But the winner for me was the window seating area where you can stretch out and relax. And OMG i can open the window for that sweet NC air. Im from nyc and could never open a window at any! Hotel in all my domestic travels. Great stay the free breakfast was amazing (serve eggs though), front desk services soo pleasant and i am particular. One recommendation though. Get a small gym, maybe enclosed by pool. Cause with all that good food around golden corral mcds Dq etc. I need a workout! ** i stayed for powwow with my veteran stepdad and he is wheelchair bound and this hotel with right there parking , roomy elevator and rooms met the needs. No complaint and he slept like a baby. For a simple affordable atay you cant get much better than this in Jacksonville!

Called to verify pool in service due to having first solo trip with grandkids. I was told absolutely in order. Upon check-in was told it was in maintenance. Very disappointing for the children. But, on a great note had a personal issue with my daughter, and front desk went into motion and saved the day. Room was comfy and clean
