Hampton Inn Kernersville

The Hampton Inn was home base for a family reunion and a Bruce Springsteen concert! Clean, convenient and good customer service.

Really fast check in, we were able to choose our room and floor, breakfast was adequate. Our room was mostly clean, but bathroom could have used a deep clean, mold starting above the shower head, air ducts loaded with dirt, and room had an overall funky smell, like dirty carpet? Breakfast area and seating area wasn’t the cleanest. Table was super sticky as was the floor. Items were not necessarily replenished when empty. Price was a bit high per night, given these circumstances. And also, while we were there, soccer families were there for a tournament. Lobby and lounge area were out of control in the evening - kids running around, screaming, riding the elevators, running the halls. Bad parenting for sure but hotel management was nowhere to be found.

Convenient to family. Pool area could be more inviting and should stay open later for convenience.

The first night was oaky but the the walls are so thin. You can hear everything. You could also hear everyone's conversation in the hallway. The second night was terrible. I guess some travelers with children stayed over me. all I heard was screaming, jumping, and walking hard. I wanted to check out but it had gotten too late to find something else.
