Comfort Suites Greensboro - High Point

Bathroom sink is clogged/ slow to drain. Pool is very small! There was only one other family there with us, so it worked out, but any more would’ve been too crowded. I wish the room preference would have specified that it was a stand-up shower- no tub. “Popular for families” must not included families with toddlers who take baths. My error for not researching more.

Front desk lady was very nice at check in. Our room didn't have a shower seat, a TV remote or blankets for couch and she gave us all of these things we did wait on the TV remote quite a while though !! And had to watch boring news and I had my young child with me. Also breakfast was good. I thought the room looked new clean and very fancy. It was a giant easy accessible shower and bathroom worked well for my daughter on crutches. Wish there was an indoor pool and better amenities there but otherwise good. VERY loud guests upstairs we were on first floor. We had to crank the TV all night and the couch was suppose to be a pull out bed it was not.

The room carpet was disgusting. My kids feet were black within minutes. Pool wasn’t even open. We found out about that at arrival. There was some patch of mold or something on our floor under the nightstand by the bed. Breakfast was ok. Not a lot of choices. Staff was not very friendly. Outside door coming in didn’t even lock at night. Anyone could come and go. Doors were being slammed all night. Walls were paper thin it seemed like. Would not stay here again.

Great location for our family graduation celebration. Everything was friendly and quick at check in. The condition of the lobby was very nice but the elevator area was in need of a paint job. Our room was very clean, comfortable and nice. The bathroom was upgraded and large but the shower curtain wasn’t long enough to stay inside the walk in shower. The breakfast was nice.

I was very pleased with my stay at Comfort Suites Greensboro. The front desk lady was friendly and courteous. My room was spacious and quite clean. The, bed, pillows, and blanket were surprising comfortable. I am older and wake up with a backache if I sleep in an uncomfortable bed. I had an excellent night's sleep and awoke feeling refreshed. The hotel is conveniently located within a stone's throw of Interstate 40. I went out for dinner and there were many restaurants from which to choose that were within three miles of the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend Comfort Suites Greensboro to friends and family.

The location was great for me and my family to just enjoy a great weekend. The staff was super nice and made check in/out easy.

I stayed here earlier in the year and chose it again because the first stay was 5 stars. However, this stay was a mid 3. Upon arrival, the clerk advised that he needed another credit card (not the card I booked with) for a future incident charge of $100. Now I did not have to do this the first time I stayed and this was not in the details of this booking when I booked. I asked when did this happen and he stated we started this week. I never received an addendum email or notification of this change. When asked why he couldn't use the card I had on file, he said just because, and if I don't trash the room then I would be refunded my $100. This made me and my family feel uncomfortable in staying because at this point who know what their definition of "trash" is. When we got to the room we took photos and video of the damage to the wall and bathroom before even putting our things down. The sheets were not completely cleaned as I found hairs in the made up beds. The initial unexpected future incident charge, set the whole atmosphere of the stay in a bad way. When checking out, the clerk was actually the same clerk from our first amazing stay, and she advised me that the card was never even charged, so no refund was needed. Better training is needed for your staff because this is the last time I'll stay here.

The stay was great overall. Facilities are clean, staff is professional and courteous. The only concern I had is the walls are paper thin. If your television Is not on you can hear the neighboring room conversation very clearly and word-for-word. That concerns me because of privacy. In addition, you can hear children running back and forth if there are any rooming above you. If you can tolerate those things this hotel is awesome for you. If you need privacy I wouldn’t book here.
