Hilton Garden Inn - Asheville South

We had 2 separate rooms for a big family & they were able to get our rooms close to each other!

You are paying for the name. It really isnt any better than a Best Western or Hampton Inn as far as the rooms go. The outside patio was nice and with no pool- if you dont want to be around little kids- it really isnt set up for them -which when you are away from your own it is nice to be away from other peoples kiddos as well. The breakfast isnt included and for what you get for $13.00 a plate, it really should be. Again no better than a Best Western. The desk staff seems nice, the bummer part was the bathroom shower had mold growing in it. GROSS! I asked the staff to send housekeeping but I think there was some confusion since I was asked at check in if I wanted housekeeping while I was there and had said no. Housekeeping never did come by. Normally I wouldnt stay at Hilton but this one had a shuttle from the airport that I thought I would need when I booked it. If you dont mind paying for the label, it wasnt a bad place to stay. If you do have a car- do yourself a favor and drive the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. It was beautiful!

From the moment my family and I entered the hotel to the time we left, we were treated with such kindness. I am impressed by the staff, the food, the amenities and cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay and will most certainly be back!
