Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asheville Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Front desk person in the evening was very kind, very personable, and very understanding about my frustration that the hotel said they had an outdoor pool but it was more like an outdoor kiddie pool that had no lounge chairs. Just super uncomfortable chair chairs. Additionally, the restaurant she sent me to was closed and in a very, very, very sketchy neighborhood. I eventually found it in a different location but it was not vegetarian. It was vegan. So I had to find somewhere else on my own. The morning check out person was incredibly rude and very unhelpful. The 24 hour market was absolutely the best part of staying there. I had initially consider staying two nights and decided to leave in the morning. The hot breakfast was cheese omelettes and sausage. No biscuits, no potatoes, nothing hot besides those two items.

Overall, for the price, this place was pretty good. Nice and newly renovated. But there were very limited parking spots and the pool was very cloudy. And little kids shouldn’t be allowed in the hot tub. The beds were super soft and comfy! Clean rooms.

This was a great place for our family to stay! It was comfortable and clean.

We stayed in 2 queen beds room for 2 nights with little kids. The room was clean, the receptionist was very friendly, and we could stay comfortable. Some small thing we noticed, they don't have shower hoses in their regular rooms which means it was not easy to give kids shower.

My family and I really like this hotel and it’s location. We found it to be conveniently located to restaurants, brewery and a reasonable distance to the mountains.
