Where to start? The rooms (2 rooms) were not ready upon arriving at the hotel. It qas well after 7pm and the rooms were supposed to be ready by 4pm. Apparently staff just didn't show up, housekeepers for one, but also no cook or battender. The front desk was super apologetic, and I felt bad for her as there were quite a few people upset and waiting. She recommended that we go and eat, which wasn't something we had planned on doing without taking a shower first and unloading the car but what choice did we have? After returning from dinner we still had to wait for the rooms, as they were still not ready. By 9pm we had rooms assigned. We used the luggage carts, but almost had a child casualty as the carts all have flat tires, so they almoat flipped. Then the room key didn't work, so back down we go. Finally we are settled in, but the next day the elevator on our side of the hotel broke and now we had to either use the elevator at the other end of the hotel or the stairs. Ok fine, but try that with a bunch of luggage and from the 5th floor... anyway, checking out was therefore as much of a pain as checking in. The fitness center was beyond filthy, but I guess rooms took priority. So ok, bad experience all around. No option of breakfast at the hotel, as no staff available. So obviously, I contacted Expedia to see if there is something that could be done, I didn't expect a full refund, but at least an acknowledgement? A good faith gesture? But no, the hotel did not. Nothing!

Very noisy family in the next room keeping us up all night. Complained each day to the front desk. They offered us 1 free breakfast and the day we went to redeem it the breakfast was closed. Housekeeping never made our bed only changed trash and towels. We paid for a handicap room and were given a normal room.

Updated since COVID, it's a great improvement over the previous condition. The front desk was very cordial and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that you could get food and drinks at the hotel. The rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable. The raised toilet was appreciated as it's very hard for seniors to use the typical low installed toilets in hotels. While I would prefer a walk-in shower, I understand that bathtubs are better for bathing children. Even at home we don't have all the conveniences that we would like. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We decided to stay here because of the awesome pool hot tub combo that our children were looking forward to. THE HOT TUB IS BROKEN AND HAS NO WATER !

The indoor pool was closed in the hottest month of the year. I picked this hotel for the pool for my children. Also I paid extra for breakfast vouchers and they need not have someone there to make breakfast one of the mornings during my stay.

The hotel was in a decent location, but that is about all of the positives. We got there after the checkin time and our room wasn’t ready. Our child had fun in the pool, but adults were told we couldn’t have any drinks (even non-alcoholic ones) in the pool area. And all of the chairs were soaked and the pool towels were all gone. That night we ordered food from the restaurant and our order was incorrect. On the 2nd day, they came by at 8:30am to ask if we wanted a full room service. We said just clean towels would be fine. We never got any cleaning- nor any clean towels. Our keys inactivated after the first day so we had to go to the lobby to get them updated. When we went to ask for new towels, Tanner at the desk was full of excuses. When we went to check out today, the desk worker was on the phone and simply held out their hand for the key. Then didn’t make eye contact with me again. I’m going to have to email the hotel for a final copy of our bill. Just pick another place. There were lots of other options around.

Hotels.com had in writing that we would have a king and a queen bed. This was not the case at all when we arrived. They gave us a king bed with a couch bed (twin). They stated that this hotel did not have a king and a queen bed at all in any rooms. They did not offer us any other rooms. The third night at the hotel we were told that they had NO CLEAN towels. They could only give us 2 hand towels for our family to bathe with. This is outrageous behavior for a hotel. It is very unacceptable for having to pay over $650 for three nights. We will NEVER use hotels.com again nor will we stay at this hotel again!!!!

We checked in and we’re provided with a room that was not clean. Linens to the bed were piled up in the corner. I called the front desk and was provided with a new room. When I got to the new room and opened the door there was someone already assigned to this room. TV was on, their bag on the bed and the person was relaxing in the bed. Luckily for me I did not make my way into the room and immediately shut the door. This was not safe for me or my family with me. I returned to the front desk and asked again for a clean unoccupied room. The front desk associated then accompanied us to the room to ensure that it was clean and empty. I have never had anything like this happen to me and have always had pleasant stays at Holiday Inns until last night.
