Hampton Inn Long Island/Islandia

I highly recommend this hotel. Especially when traveling with children

The stay was okay. The first morning we got up for breakfast (myself and my kids) and the breakfast was well picked through and there was very little left, maybe a few slices of bread and dry cereal because the milk was out. There was also no place to sit to eat, it was super crowded. House keeping only does every other day, we had four in our room and only was provided two towels, two towels for three days! We asked the front desk for towels and they were out. We waited hours for towels so we could shower before going out. I was just not impressed overall with the experience here.

I had several issues with this property. First of all, it was the smallest double Queen bed that I've ever had. Next there were no towels available for me and my family in the morning. Next there was a dog barking in the next room first thing in the morning. There was also a woman who was cleaning who was outside my door. I told the front desk all of my complaints and tried to get Expedia to change my room but they said the front desk refused.

The hotel staff was not prepared to host the amount of people they booked and we waited an hour for our room to be ready. I had two small children who had of use the bathroom and couldn’t use the one in the lobby, because the floor was full of pee. The room was terrible. The sheets had not been changed and the tub had a black crust around the bottom. The door was missing a knob and lock. Also, one one of the two elevators was working. Honestly, I paid way too much money for such a disappointment.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I spent 4 nights. The first night the sink in the bathroom was unusable because it would not drain. The toilet wouldn't flush completely. I called the desk and they apologized but couldn't fix it until the next day. It was gross and very inconvenient. Then, one morning there was No hot water. I had already gone for a run and came back sweaty and gross. I had a baby shower to go to at noon and was unable to shower and wash my hair. I flew into NY for this event, to see family and friends I haven't seen in 3yrs...this ruined my entire trip!!! That night when I returned to the hotel there still was NO hot water. The next morning, the day I had to leave, there STILL was no hot water. 2 full days of No hot water or showers! It was absolutely disgusting. There was not daily maid service and if I wanted a towel the maids in the hall refused to give it to me. I had to go down and ask at the front desk. Sadly, this entire experience was horrible and I won't be returning.

Stayed there three nights. They don’t do room service unless you ask. Had to get more towels and TP. Little noisy being next to expressway. We were able to hang out in lobby with family that visited. Would stay again.

This was the perfect stay location wise to visit my family all over LI. I couldn’t wait to get back to the comfort of my room after a long day. Coffee 24/7, great staff and clean.

I booked a king size bed. I get here and they say they dont have a king size bed and give me these 2 little full size kid beds. Im 6'3 feet hang from the bed. Terrible!

It was an ideal place to stay for our family. Friendly staff. Very clean. Well run. Would stay there again. Only complaint is that there were no towels at the pool. Request for towels was made but none arrived.

It was very nice the ladys that work there was very kind i will definitely go back there when Im back in long Island the pool area was very clean the room is type small i went to sleep like a baby
