This hotel should not be part of Hilton family!! It’s in an unsafe area and the condition of the hotel is awful. We had a two queen room , when I sat on the corner of one of the beds,the entire thing flew up 2 feet in the air. Also, our room smelled of vomit. Will make me very Leary of staying at a Hampton Inn ever again. As a data point…..last year we had over 30 hotel stays.

Hampton Inn-Schenectady, NY was in a very convenient and central location to where we would be venturing. The hotel was impressive. As a family, we've stayed at many hotels over the years and this one is just about the "The Best". Modern design, extremely clean and very helpful and friendly staff. Can't ask for more than that! Additionally, there was no lack of great restaurants in walking distance. This is a hotel we plan on visiting again in the not-too-distant future.

Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Schenectady with lots of restaurants nearby. Staff are all very polite and professional. Rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. Gym and pool are all nice and clean. We will definitely refer to friends and families and come back again.

Stayed here while attending University at Albany's Parents' Weekend. Perfect location. Walked 8 buildings down from hotel for dinner at a bistro. Only about a 15 minute or so easy drive to and from campus. Will definitely stay again. Also, Proctors Theatre is four buildings down, so this is the perfect location for an extended weekend with child at UA.

Brand new and lavishly decorated. Breakfast was both hot & cold foods and good. The only problem for us was that we had booked a smoking room & the entire building is non-smoking. Your fault, not theirs! Downtown location and definitely more geared to business travelers than to vacationers or families.
