Refillable Lotion in the bathroom empty . No plug in the tub. No beverage at breakfast except coffee. Juice machine down. Nothing for childern to drink. When we asked the server told us we could buy bottled water at reception.Bit by a spider in the night.

Location was perfect for Visiting family in the Schenectady area and the price was right because of the amount of traffic that goes through the Albany airport. Hotel is on Albany Schenectady Road and travel app route me line Mohawk River so I didn’t have to go on an interstate.

Fantastic day at this property and the staff service quality of the coffee and breakfast was really good. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking to stay for business leisure or just a quick stop between destinations. It is also quite family-friendly and well located for the Albany area.

I have visited this hotel many times over the years and have referred friends and family here. This time I had a prepaid room at the end of a long day of travels and arrived late - called ahead to make sure they knew I was coming and room was held. I arrived at almost midnight to a room that was saturated with cigarette smoke. It had obviously been a smoking room that wasn’t stripped - it made me want to vomit to be in there. I called the front desk and was told the hotel was sold out and sorry. Do not stay in room 406 if you are a nonsmoker. Wanted to take a bath but found pubic hair and grit in the tub so opted out. Fortunately I had a small can of Lysol with me. Between that and the bathroom exhaust fan I made through the night. The horrible coffee on the way out was a bonus. So disappointed and no compensation offered. Sad.

My family of 4 stayed there for the weekend while visiting the VIA Aquarium. The room was nice and the pool was also nice but a little small. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choices. It was a little busy when we were down eating and had to wait a bit for food.

Great hotel with friendly staff. The room was comfortable for our overnight stay as a family of four.

What we liked: beds were comfortable. Convenient location with enough dining options. This was just a quick overnight on our way to an event. Staff was nice. What we did not like. The room bathroom had a very think barn style door. While it may look interesting in pictures, it was very off on a bathroom. It doesn't fully stay closed, and if someone wanted to peak through they could. I think they should go back to w normal door. Also, the room had a faint odor of cat pee. It was not so bad that my family wanted to move so We did not ask to be moved, (to be fair, they may have moved us if we asked). I know cat pee is hard to remove and It is a pet friendly hotel but this room should be reserved only for other guests bringing pets.

Everything was beautiful but the pool was close that way I book for my family to enjoy everything and Dec 31 at 8:13 the lady from front desk call me when I was driving to give a complain about my stepson that he didn’t clean the coffee area but he did that was unprofessional of her to call a Guest but everything was awesome

Says has a pool but they dont. Our kids were very frustrated... we have a child with disability

We were so ready to lay down when we originally arrived, we checked in and on we went. My husband and I just went straight to nap before meeting with family we woke up to a hot room and completely soaked carpet by the AC Unit. They gave me another room immediately no apology just that I had to go 2 floors up. No biggie! The floor smelled like smoke, tiles missing from ceiling but overall we just wanted a place to sleep not a place to hangout for 3 nights. The staff is not friendly, I honestly think they hate their job. I love Hampton so I’m sure I’ll be back if ever in Albany just wish it was more pleasant.
