The hotel is conveniently located to Albany airport, and the hotel does have a 24/7 shuttle service, which was great! The reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 was because the family next to us had out of control children who were running up and down the halls screaming well past 11:00 PM. The hotel staff did respond to our requests - more than one - to speak to the parents, but the parents obviously didn’t care or had no control over their kids.

Front desk staff were kind and the room was exactly what a family of 4 needed for one night. We had requested for a pack n play but they didn’t mention it upon check in, luckily we had packed one just in case. Breakfast was good.

Check in was different. I received no information to the amenities or even where my room was. Nothing was offered to my group yet others were offered water annd popcorn. Immediately after check in there were unsupervised children running up and down the halls banging on peoples doors. The bed sheets smelled odd.

When we had a problem with noise in our room, the moved us to a great one on the third floor. First floor near pool can be noisy if there is a kids tournament that weekend. Also noise comes through being on first floor….

This hotel is frequented by large athletic groups and families who are incredibly loud and have no problem making lots of noise. The main lobby was overtaken by multiple sports groups with their baggage just laying everywhere so the guest couldn’t even walk easily around the main lobby area, the guest were incredibly loud all night with frequent calls to the front desk. Nothing could be remedied except to move my room in the middle of the night at 2 AM. This is a miserable property. They do not have carpet instead of laminate flooring that almost feels sticky on your feet… ick! Please do not stay here if you are trying to get on a plane early in the morning. Save yourself the hassle. It’s not worth saving the 20 bucks. Go stay at the Marriott.

Comfortable bed, great blackout shade-- I slept like a baby. The spare/sparse Ikea esthetic isn't for everyone, but it was fine. But-- understaffed, with undertrained and somewhat snippy staff. I called from the airport for 20 minutes (at 10pm) for a "24 hour airport shuttle"-- no answer at all. I'd say this is basically a management problem.

We stayed here because we had to catch an early flight. It was New Years Eve, and we were worried about noise since clearly many guests were headed out to parties. However, I don't think I noticed any noise from our neighbors or down the hall. This place has a cool modern Euro vibe, with open storage. The room wasn't big, but it was perfect for our needs. Everything was extremely clean. Staff were very helpful, brought us a pack n play for our toddler, and the shuttle was there to drive us to the airport at 4am. It couldn't have gone better!

pros: price, 24 hr airport shuttle, new facility, and fun for families. cons: hard to regulate room temp. despite seemingly new thermostat, free bottled water was a nice perk but unnecessary since they have a filtered water bottle filling station they didn’t even tell us about, the shuttle driver made us wait in the middle of the night for twenty minutes but to be fair there was nightmare airport construction. overall this is a great airport hotel w friendly staff and free breakfast.

We had an excellent experience for our 3 night stay. Few things below that could have been better. 1) The blanket offered could have been larger and thicker. 2) The gels installed in the bathroom are difficult to squeeze out, because of this most of them appeared damaged and snap out. They are not at all kids friendly.
