Hampton Inn Corning/Painted Post

The staff was outstanding. The room was very clean. I felt the pool was colder than it should be with little children, but Mary And housekeeping staff was outstanding. Nice location

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our kids liked the pool, and the breakfast was very good.

first off i booked through expedia and picked the wrong dates and didnt notice until the day i needed to check in. the staff member was super helpful and along with expedia took care of correcting my mistake. the lobby and hallways are clean. the sink in the bathroom would not drain properly and the cieling vent wasnt working either. the shower was clean but old.the curtains in the bedroom had some weird red stain on them, but other than that the beds were comfortable.our kids loved the pool.i would suggest some lights at the turn into the hotel parking because its very dark at night. im a very picky person and i would stay here again

Check-in went very well and the hotel staff member even offered to move our (adults only) room away from a block of rooms where there were a lot of children. When we got settled in to our space, we understood why. The walls seem incredibly thin/not much soundproofing. We could hear the person in the adjoining room sneeze, talk, walk around (nothing obnoxious or out of the ordinary). I felt more of the need to whisper in the space, but for our purpose, the hotel was in great condition, comfortable and near where we needed to be.

Very pleased with our stay. we travelled with 2 kids. had a room with 2 queen beds. The room was big and clean. the reception stuff was friendly. There's a fire pit with comfy couches where we met other couples. The breakfast is very generous with many selections. I highly recommend the this hotel.

My daughter and I just needed a night away somewhere with a pool and AC, and chose here. The hotel was wonderful. The employees were very friendly and helpful and patient with my inquisitive five year old, our room was huge and very nicely appointed, and the pool was perfect (large enough to hold a few families comfortably). Everything was clean and in good shape. The free breakfast was fantastic - there were more than enough selections for both of us to be happy. We went down to eat at a busy time, and there was an employee bustling around, refilling things as soon as they got low so no one had to wait around for food. Great experience. My only complaint was the pillows - too soft for my taste. Everything else was great.

We enjoyed our stay at this Hampton because of the consistent quality it shares with other Hampton Hotels.The staff(DIANA) was exceptionally helpful and allowed us a change of room when we were next to crying babies next door.We came to visit the Corning Glass Museum which is a five minute drive away, so don't let the address in Painted Post deterr you from staying here.An Applebee's restaurant is also close by if you don't want to drive into Corning for dinner.The location is perfect, close to major highways, yet quiet.

This was the perfect place for our family to gather. The breakfast room was open for us to spend time together in the evening. The staff was friendly. Afternoon and evening snacks were provided. The breakfast varied a little each day. The location is great for going to many of the area attractions - Corning, Hammondsport, etc.
