Pool was under construction which was not a problem for me or my spouse but I do think the hotel should some how let people know this. Especially those with children may be disappointed. Also, no ice available. Breakfast had Very limited choices & not enough space for people to sit.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. They ran out of a lot of things while we were there (soap, shampoo, milk), but it wasn't a huge deal. The reason I'm only giving 2 stars is because the website says they have an indoor heated pool and that was the whole reason I chose to stay at this particular hotel. My whole family was really looking forward to doing some swimming. But the pool is closed for repairs and has been for several years, so it's not like an unforeseeable surprise. I did hear them tell people as they were checking in that they could cancel for free, but by the time you're checking in (on a holiday weekend no less) who is going to cancel and find another hotel at a similar price point with a pool and a vacancy nearby? They need to update their website and include something about the pool being out of service in their confirmation messages.

Our room was really cozy and we enjoyed it at the hotel. The children enjoyed rocking on the rocking chairs and the food was good. Overall the hotel has been really great except for the drive to the hotel as it was frightening since couldn’t see anything.

Arrived there around 8 pm with a kid and had to wait 15 min for the front desk to come and then she said the pool and some other services are not available! We actually book this hotel because of the pool and she only offered us free cancellation and said we can go to another hotel!!! At that time of the evening with a kid we needed to rest after a long drive and the staff was so unfriendly and behaved in a way we are responsible for the problems at the hotel! The property was not at all as good as the pictures. Everything so rusty and smelly! The breakfast was so limited and some items were not available for refil. In overall I will stay away from this hotel in the future.

At check-in we were informed the pool wasn’t available, which bummed the kids out. The bathroom was gross, hair everywhere, clearly not wiped down. Although the pictures look updated, everything was banged up and dingy. The fire alarm went off at 12am, front desk agent had no idea why- we spent 20 minutes in the parking lot waiting for the fire department to clear the building. We awoke at 6am to banging on the floor above. The breakfast wasn’t awful, but not good. Don’t be tempted by the price I would have gladly paid $50-$100 more for a better place to say.

They said the pool was being renovated so it couldn’t be used. We saw the pool and it did not seem to be being renovated, clean water and jets were going, not sure why everyone was told it couldn’t be used. It was a hot day and my family was looking forward to swimming. Our room kind of smelled like dirty shoes but I live with boys so it wasn’t horrible. Other than that it was a fine stay. Breakfast was good, staff was great, liked the earlier check in and later check out times than other hotels.

Room was nicer and more updated than the previous Country Inn we’d stayed in this trip, but the property was just as run down. Pool was closed and when we went to check out, the elevator was broken and we had to haul all of our stuff down the stairs from the third floor. Not fun while towing a small child. Also, very understaffed. Took awhile to check in because there seemed to be one person working and she was in another area. We didn’t have pillows for the pullout bed, but weren’t able to get that resolved before our son went to sleep because the front desk wasn’t available.

We were only here for less than 12 hours, so my description is short and sweet! We were greeted at 11pm by a warm women and soft delicious cookies in the lobby. We were in the far end of the hotel, where I was told the internet doesn’t reach when I mentioned I can’t connect. I had to walk to the lobby to use it, which was a little annoying, but not the end of the world. I used the gym in the morning, which was fine. They have some cardio machines and weights. I could tell it’s rarely used since the disinfecting wipes were all dried up. I didn’t mind being alone in there though! I inquired about the pool, but was told it was still closed and she wasn’t sure when it would reopen. Breakfast had a decent variety of food, and there was an attendant there at all times refilling bread/etc…. They used disposable plates, cups and cutlery though, which is disappointing since it’s awful for the environment. There was cookies/tea/coffee/hot chocolate 24/7, which was nice though. The room itself was a nice size and clean. Same for the bathroom. We were only given 2 bath towels for 4 people, which I thought was odd, but since we left after breakfast and couldn’t use the pool, the kids didn’t need to bathe. Overall, the hotel was totally fine for the night. I’m not sure I’d want to spend one week there since the internet/pool thing would have become annoying though.

We checked in around 3AM and we had a baby with us. Shortly after getting settled in the room we noticed how little was done in terms of cleaning the room. We found crumbs and oily patches on the side tables and in areas of the room. We lay a bed sheet on the desk and kept our stuff on that to get by for the night. The toilet bowl in the bathroom still had streaks of yellow stains in the bowl. The crib that was provided was creaky and the baby would wake herself whenever she moved around in the crib. Opening the door to the room was no easy task either. Someone needs to readjust the hinges, the door gets stuck in the frame all the time. Switching rooms at this point seemed like an ordeal after how tired we were after a long trip, and so we decided to bear it down for a few hours. Regardless, the room should have been cleaned properly at the very least. Worst hotel stay ever.

It would have been a perfect stay but my sister slipped coming out of the shower. They didn’t have non skid floor mats. She was bruised up and down her back and arm. When we complained, we were told that they had the mats behind the main desk in the lobby, but we had to ask for them. A sorry end to an otherwise nice trip.
