Quality Inn

We have stayed at the Corning Quality Inn for family vacations in the past. The rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable.

We enjoyed a one night stay while making a visit to the Corning Glass Museum with family. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with a variety of options.

I stayed in Quality Inn In Corning NY for a local family function. The Positive: the service was good and fast, easy check-in. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good. Outside sitting area was very nice. The Negative: 1. The pool was small, not heated. We couldn’t go in because it was too cold. Had slight green on steps. There were no chairs near the pool to sit in. 2. The hallways were clean but dated. Smelled musty, like cat. 3.Their policy noted that they did not change linen for a stay greater than one day. I didn’t like that. 4.Hair dryer in bathroom was falling off wall, room temperature could not be adjusted at night. It was set on low but still too warm for my family. I would have given this hotel/ motel a lower score except the positives helped.

Great stay with family & kids to take a stop for a day of traveling long distances

My family felt secure and very comfortable, we enjoyed our stay and definitely we will come back.

Check in quick pleasant and efficient. Beds and pillows super comfy. Everything was clean and tidy. Great hot shower and water pressure. 2 night stay breakfast was decent, loved having a few gluten free options, more fresh fruit would be nice, apples only. The staff kept everything filled very efficient and were friendly. The only complaint is the temperature of the indoor pool. It was only 80 per the desk which was almost too cold to swim in in October, but we paid extra to have a pool so , the kids went in, not the adults. Raising the temp even 5 degrees would have been more tolerable.Indoor pool also had no chairs to sit, says it’s state law, so sitting on concrete floor not ideal. I heard a few others complaining about the 2 pool issues as well. Overall definitely recommend this hotel, walking distance to River path and 5 minutes to downtown Corning across the bridge, with many dining options close by.

Cheap price and ok comfort. I dont know why hotels are switching to the European style bed pillows that are basically couch cushions, fluffy square head rest pillows, but i bring my own pillows regardless of whatever hotel i go too. Night staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast ok with a basic grain and fruit selection, and working pool for the kids. Cant ask for anything more with the price and room and bathroom clean upon entering
