Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel

This was a great location and very family friendly! Mila on staff was very helpful in making our stay a pleasant one, even when it rained on our planned family picnic. This is a great place to stay, but book directly through the hotel for the best deal. Not doing so was our only drawback on this trip.

Beautiful area, very clean, and extremely friendly staff. The floor we were on was not very quiet due to a kids hockey team staying on the same floor and they were playing in the hallway.

Very nice place. Only complaints were that our room wasn’t ready on time. Checkin was advertised as 4:00, so that’s when we arrived, but the room wasn’t ready until 4:25. Got a room with 2 double beds for a family of four, but were charged $30 for an “extra person”. Bath towels were very scratchy. Free breakfast was very good. Lots of options to choose from.

Amazing!! Got to the hotel early and was able to do an early check-in. Great location!! Walking distance to Main St. Great staff!! Service with a smile. One staff was in front of me knowing I'll be taking the elevator... he pressed the call button for me, but kept walking! I thanked the young man. He turned around and smiled. How great is that!! Love it!! I recommended Lake Placid Inn Boutique Hotel to all my family and friends. Will definitely come back !!

big room, great for kids

We stayed in late June 2023 with family in 3 separate rooms. We were able to check in early which was extremely helpful. We enjoyed just about everything about this hotel especially the location. We had one issue which was caused by several young boys in town for lacrosse tournament with no parent with them. They were loud and disruptive. I'm sure this problem is not unique to the Lake Placid Inn and would recommend you check to see what events are scheduled and avoid those times when you may encounter this type of situation when possible. However, the General Manager was so understanding and refunded us fully for the cost of the room where the issue occurred. We will definitely stay at the Lake Placid Inn again if we visit in the future.

Our family stayed at Lake Placid Inn so we could support our son who was running in the marathon. We were extremely delighted to learn that we were feet away from the start line. There is a delicious restaurant next door, a park & lake across the street, and downtown was in walking distance. The hotel was very nice, clean & offered a great breakfast. Staff was friendly. Excellent place to stay.

Everything was great! My son's loved the sofa bed on the loft! It's highly recommended for families.

Hotel is very close to downtown and our room overlooked Mirror Lake. The hotel provides warm chocolate chip cookies and a nice breakfast of eggs, bacon, bagels, etc. Staff was friendly. Our room could have easily slept 2 adults and 2 kids as it had a king size bed downstairs. Then it you climbed to spiral staircase there was a pull-out sofa bed and another TV upstairs. Great Stay!
