Nice outside views lobby nice and coffee maker and free drinks in lobby was nice. No enforcement of conduct code,unsupervised children at night in halls, adults drinking to excess,broken lock on door at south entrance.

We were there for the hockey CanAm tournament and expected kids everywhere Lol and they were. The hotel staff was great and I was surprised that my room was getting cleaned daily. The rooms and hotel are very dated and worn out but clean and comfortable. Walkway on the south side was not shoveled well and getting in was a pain and the cart we had was broken. We reported it and it was resolved. I would go back

Staff friendly, accomodating. Very busy until the new year and almost deserted after that. Free coffee and tea with a variety of creamers all day long. Pool was big. Ping pong table in the pool area. Long walk from the adirondack wing to the lobby was ideal for getting small children to run safely indoors. Pet friendly hotel which surprisingly did not activate any of our allergies.

Plenty things to do in the hotel with kids : pool and hot tub, library room with board games, coloring pages for kids to entertain themselves. Multiple places in the lobby and through hotel to sit and relax. Very well kept and very nice decorated for the holidays

This hotel is beautiful on the outside, but rooms and common areas feel dated. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend when the hotel was overrun with kids competing in the CanAm hockey tournament, along with their families and coaches. Children were running around the hotel at all hours, largely unsupervised, making a lot of noise in the hallway outside our room. Additionally, the hallway outside our room consistently smelled like marijuana. While hotel staff acknowledged and tried to address our complaints, there was little they could do. Ultimately, I think it’s a nice, reasonably priced hotel with a very good staff, but would strongly recommend guests research local events happening during their visit and plan accordingly.

We absolutely loved this hotel. check in was early and easy. The dining room staff are excellent, especially our servers Tim, Michelle, and Mary June. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. The pool was a little chilly.

Hotel is clean and conveniently located near everything in town but a good enough distance away from Main St to be very serene. The staff was wonderful, professional and friendly. Everything was done with a smile!!! My family and I loved it and we'll definitely stay there again. We visit Lake Placid nearly every summer for the past several years and it was our first time at this hotel and we absolutely loved it.
