Hampton Inn Batavia

Please read me carefully because you are going to choose to stay here. Their staff is terrible, rude and disrespectful. First contact was receptionist and she was not happy to see us. She rudely checked us in and seems like don’t like her job. Rooms were smelly and bathrooms has roaches. The entire staff of the hotel was very disturbed to see colour of skin. I feel the staff was raciest and pathetic. The pool was broken and in used for guest and no safety concerns. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t go here with your kids they will be very disappointed and have worst experience of their life because this place and people who work here.

Electrical wires hanging by pool door entrance, elevator electrical encasement is cracked, fire light is broken, slight shuttering sound occasionally heard while riding elevator. Overall safety is questionable. Inside lobby air conditioner is turned off during the day but is on at night only when the owner is working, had to ask for pool towels, continued non replenishment. Bug infestation sign posted by owner rollie pin bugs? As if this problem is acceptable at all. Owner states her children/relatives play with them and that's supposed to make this ok. Very unbecoming a Hilton brand!

We pass through Batavia, NY a couple times a year on our way back from visiting our son and his family in Vermont. We have always stayed at the Wyndham La Quinta but for some unknown reason their rates had doubled? This Hampton Inn was by far better and reasonably priced.

The bed had a broken bar sticking out, a family member gashed her leg on it. Two adults and 3 children under 18 were in a room with a Queen and a pull out couch. The front desk would only allow 4 towels, no pool towels had to use room towels to dry off and the towels would not be replaced. Had to go dig out the wet towels and take them to the front desk for 4 dry towels. Cleaning staff was very rude and unhelpful. Great breakfast!!

We asked for adjoining rooms, since we were traveling with my mother and children. The lady at the front desk didn’t acknowledge that request and didn’t give us adjoining rooms. Both room were supposed to be non-smoking. One room stunk badly of cigarette smoke, it was disgusting. We had to ask for extra towels because they only gave us two in the room.

I stayed here for two nights with my kids. Our room had no air conditioning. The only thing they could offer us was a box fan. We all ate the breakfast that was served and we were all super sick after the fact, we all have been sick since Saturday morning after breakfast. I have probably over $600 in charges that they can’t explain to me on my card as well. I will not be back to this property and I would not recommend. I had another couple that stayed in another room and they said worst experience ever. The rate for this room is absolutely ridiculous. Not happy and I will be going over them if the charges are not taken off my card. I am a person that travels a lot and stays at a lot of hotels. I am not a complainer by any means and I believe this is the first review I have ever done as it has bothered me that much! Even when the air conditioner didn’t work we sucked it up but after checking out and seeing my card was charged over $600 I am not happy at all.

For this family trip we specifically looked for and reserved a hotel with a pool. We were very disappointed to find out, once checked in, that the pool was not in service. This would have been nice to know ahead of time as we even called to confirm the reservation. We were told that the pool has not been in service. Next time I look to reserve a hotel, I will check on the pool prior to booking.

Stayed here because they had a pool for the kids to play. Pool was closed due to renovation. Was not made aware until after check in. Bathroom was gross in the room. Had hair in the bathtub and bathroom counter. Would not stay here again.
