Park Manor Hotel

My family's new favorite place to stay. We stay at a lot of hotels but this place is consistantly the best. The people are nice & attentive while still giving you personal space. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean & huge which is great when traveling with kiddos who have been cooped up together in a car for awile. The beds are very comfortable as are the chairs. The gym is nicely arranged & the pool is always clean, warm & refreshing. The hotel is easy to access with shopping & dining options all around yet somehow still very quiet & serene. I have never had a less than wonderful stay & will definitly return.

While the rooms are large and fairly clean, the water pressure barely exists and the bathtub was dirty and had mold in spots. I stayed here about two years ago and can’t recall it being this way. Also, there was a large group of younger children who were running around the parking lot, elevators and hotel in general playing tag. The parents didn’t care at all and staff didn’t say anything, which isn’t ideal for other guests trying to relax. I will not be staying here again.

Checked in on Friday, 2 rooms, 3 days. When I checked in I was informed that there was a 3.5% surcharge because I was using a credit card. When I got to our rooms, the televisions weren’t working. They sent someone up and he said he would be right back and never returned. Checked a hour later with front desk and was told it was the cable company and it would be fixed by noon on Saturday. Went to desk again Saturday evening and was told I would get a 10% refund because they still weren’t working. Sunday morning I inquired about the cable and they said they were still working on it. I asked for a more specific time because I was going to leave if it wasn’t fixed. They had somebody there in 10 minutes with a Roku device which was ok for one room because my children have streaming services. However it didn’t work for my room because I don’t. I couldn’t get any local channels or network football games and why didn’t they do this on Friday instead of me having to threaten to take my business elsewhere to get something done. Another problem I had was the bathroom outlets didn’t work and I noticed as I was packing that where a smoke detector should be there was no device and exposed bare wires were hanging out from the wall. I called the hotel when I got home and asked about the refund and to speak with the hotel manager. As of this post I haven’t received the refund or call back from the hotel.

Our room, 306, smelled horribly of stale cigarettes. The linens had stains on the top covers, the outlets in the bathroom did not work. I found someone else's hair on the floor of the bathroom, several bobby pins on the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed very well. There was a Keurig machine but no pods in the room and the coffee mugs in the room still had dried coffee in them and the glasses by the ice bucket looked dirty, the curtains were in poor shape. No bar of soap or handsoap in the bathroom. Very poor water pressure, but we were on the 3rd floor. The floor molding was damaged and coming away from the wall and there were visible stains as well as drip stains on the walls and the doors. The drop ceiling tiles at the end of the hallway were falling down from some kind of water damage that seemed to get worse while we were there. The pool looked gross and had a film of sorts on the surface so my son and I were definitely not going in it. The restaurant, Seven, could not have been more unappealing and not very kid friendly. On a positive note the room was spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable though the blanket was thin and cheap but was warm enough when we kept the air in the room at around 70 degrees. The staff were friendly and courteous. Overall, I would not choose to stay there again. It's a shame because if the owners actually put in some effort they would have a very nice little independent hotel in a convenient location.

Hotel had a huge wedding and there was no parking for other guests. Staff was very friendly, and when I finally called about the Dj for the wedding at 12:30am I was told I would end at 1am…. Which it did. Staff aloud us to still till noon since we over slept due to noise with not few charges. But also important is that there is no bar or restaurant or breakfast served at this hotel. Over all, this was not my favorite hotel stay but I also think I came on a weekend that was over booked and over planned by a family event not a hotel guest night. I just wish I knew ahead of time and we could have stayed else where.

We were in town for our son's wedding. We had family with us reserving a total of 5 rooms. They were very accommodating to allow 2 of the rooms to check in early on Saturday so they could dress for the afternoon wedding. Overall stay was o.k. Our toilet seat cracked in half the first time we sat on it, my parents room had a toilet that never worked after 3 attempts by their staff to fix it. My cousin's room had a leak and we were double charged for our stay which was taken care of. Not a horrible experience, just some snags that need to be worked on. NOTE.......no longer providing free breakfast and breakfast buffet offered for $12.99 is awful and very limited!!!!!!!!

We stayed overnight in our outbound two-day road trip to Montreal. The room was way larger than I anticipated which the kids enjoyed to play around (I think I counted 33 feet from front door to outside window). The room is basic but very functional. Staff seemed eager to help and enthusiastic, yet I did not have a need to ask for anything so I cannot judge service. Surroundings are OK but it is a place I would not walk at night. I think it was a Chilis restaurant next door. We brought our own light breakfast to hit the road early. We would stay again specially for the room size.

No microwave in room to heat my baby bottles up, one microwave in the lobby that EVERYONE HAS TO USE, which was nasty up inside the microwave sticky splattered food, mini refrigerators in rooms were not cold at all, WARM! an way to small, took housekeeping 5hrs to bring me 6 towels to my room. Housekeeping staff was MUSTY! left a odor that LINGERED as they went past or came out elevator,one elevator for the whole hotel. Definitely never staying there again! EVER!!

Was close to family we were visiting.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The only issue I had was that they don't deliver on commitment. When I checked in, I asked where the included breakfast would be served and was informed that the hotel had recently stopped serving breakfast. I showed the Front Desk my reservation which clearly showed that breakfast was included. They said they would provide it. Next morning at breakfast there was a new person at the Desk and he again said that they did not serve breakfast. This convenience was one of the main reasons I chose this Hotel so this was very disappointing. My family and I had to go somewhere else for breakfast which put a serious strain on our time. Some other minor issues; the lock did not work on the Hotel door which made me feel unsafe when leaving my belongings. An excellent cofee machine was supplied in the room but only one coffee pod was provided even though 3 of us were staying there. I was charged $5-6 more than the rate agreed upon at reservation.
