Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Downtown

Cool ,kid friendly and definitely clean

I don't know what was going on, but there must be a venue nearby. Our room was busting with bass and loud music until after midnight each night. Probably great if you're involved in the festivities, but awful if you need rest and relaxation or have small children. Leaving exhausted from a vacation that was meant to refresh me!

This is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed with the family!

I was there for a week on business and there was a hockey team there for my last 2 nights. They were extremely obnoxious to the point of having several complaints against them. My last 2 nights there were the only nights I could actually somewhat enjoy my stay (I was working nonstop) and yet I couldn't get much sleep, they monopolized the halls and amenities. There were kids running up and down the halls until at least 1 a.m., women partying and screaming and loud music. When I tried to move rooms, I was told they couldnt locate a similar room on a floor above this party and seemed adamant it had to be a similar room. I then asked for the manager to contact me because I feel as though I deserve a partial refund, yet the manager has yet to contact me to date. In fact, I still haven't received the $250 hold they took during check-in. Nevertheless, why would a potentially loud crowd be placed on higher floors ro begin with (I believe they were on 4 and 5 of a 6 floor hotel). Not to mention, I should have received some acknowledgement from the manager, especially after giving them a weeks worth of business. The hotel itself is alright, and staff may have done what they could to try to resolve the issues, but I still feel it could have been handled better. Given this experience, it is unlikely I will stay there the next time in Buffalo on business.

We spent a two-night getaway from Ontario here. I loved that we could walk everywhere. Did walking tours and lots of restaurants nearby. Very centrally located in downtown. Easy and secured parking out front, I had been worried, but it was great. Breakfast was good and room was spacious. Rollaway bed was comfortable, but creaky, fine for our kid.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Good breakfast but would have liked a few more choices. My family and I would stay there again.

Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean and spacious room. A bit disappointed by the pool size but still enough for kids.

Our trip started amazing but had to end within 6hr of being there. Due to a family emergency we had to check out the same day we checked in. The customer service I received during this stressful time was above and beyond anything i could have asked for. I commend the gentlemen working that night. He was so kind and understanding. You made a sad departure less stressful for me.

We've stayed there three times now visiting family at school, and two or three other hotels too, and like Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Downtown the best.
