It was just okay. We got a junior suite and from the pictures it looks amazing, one of the reasons we stayed. When we got to our room I was surprised cause it wasn’t a suite. No fireplace, as advertised and probably the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The room keys stopped working each time so we had to go to the front desk to get new ones. And there was no shampoo. It was just fine. With all the other options, we will likely not stay here again.

I am a live music lover and frequently book rooms that are walkable to the many great venues in Buffalo. I stayed here to do 2 consecutive shows at the Ironworks. With nice weather that is about 15 minutes away. Parking for the Hotel is not included and they recommend the Adams garage a block away... about $20 a day depending how often you go in and out. My overall take on the place is that the guest must kindda fit the hotel and not the other way around. As a single traveler it fit the bill... a king or a queen bed... no doubles. No Expedia VIP mentioned.. no offer to upgrade and no $25 casino credits. The room was huge with quirky décor lots of space for a mini fridge but I was told that it was $25 a day extra for that. A two way phony fireplace separated the living and bedroom areas with a TV on each side. The bath was very nice and quite large. Barn door style going in and another barn door style for the toilet. A nice walk in shower with adjoining tub...and more quirky... a full length window (with shade) for bedroom viewing.. Oddly enough there was almost zero sound proofing and I shared audio of a couple next door with crying children day and night. My outside door would not secure when shut without a horrendous slam. The bed was very soft but comfortable . This was quite an unusual "hotel" stay, but the place is really dripping with history. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
