Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital

There was a problem with our reservation because we booked through hotels.com. This was not Quality Inn's fault at all but my restless kids had to sit in the car for an extra 30 minutes while I called hotels.com to fix the problem. The hotel receptionist was very helpful in helping me figure out the problem and helping me find a phone number to call. Locating a number for hotels.com was ridiculous but she was able to find one. The room was very small for four people but the bed was comfortable. We did get free breakfast at the restaurant and the food was good. Overall, it was an ok stay.

Close to family, clean, safe

Stayed in this hotel 12/11/22. Checkin was ok. Can not park close to office, its blocked off. Don't know for what reason. Only one door was useable to office, even though there were others. Our room was was quite aways from our parking. Had to climb the stairs as we are seniors and have trouble with stairs. We were directed to go around the hotel on the dirt road to our parking location. Found out there was a closer parking and a paved shorter route to our hotel. I parked there afterwards. Our room was nice and clean in appearance but was very cold. The heater was set at 80° with no heat coming out. I set the thermostat to 90° with just a little warmth coming out, mostly cold. We recieved 2 portable heaters after complaining. Very little movement would trip the heaters. All of the outlets we tried were loose and wouldn't hold the heater plugs in. The weight of the cord eventually came out of the outlets. The sink drain in our room was plugged also. When water get accumulated in the sink you could see the water dripped onto the carpet below. The shower was ok with water coming out was warm enough to shower. Didnt use the cold water side. My family didn't shower that morning because of the cold. Only I showered. We had to call the front office so we could brush our teeth and wash our faces. The beds were comfortable to sleep in even in the cold. Breakfast that came with the room was good. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone in the winter. I think this is an older hotel.
