SpringHill Suites by Marriott Gallup

I checked in and went to my room. It shocked me. My room was dirty with trashes. They did not ensure my reservation. They just gave me an used room. My wife and I took two kids (4 yrs and 2 month) and drove for 5 hours to here. It made me furious.

Friendly check in staff, fast and smooth process. Room is great size for family, clean and comfort with free two water bottle. It was amazing experience.

Unfortunately the location is pretty bad. Lots of homeless around, walking and running around the parking lot, we got approached by one of them when we arrived at night and felt shaken because we were with our babies. Thankfully nothing happened to us, but we left from the parking lot scared of something happening to our car. We did mention this to the hotel front desk staff and they said they were going to call security. Not sure if they did. The room: the sofa was very dirty, the pillows smelled like sweat, the bathroom floor was dirty, full of crumbles and hair as well as the bathtub... I decided not to give a bath to my babies that night because of the lack of cleanliness. Front desk staff where nice as well as the staff at the breakfast area. Breakfast was good Hotel common areas were nice. Overall I think this hotel is overpriced for how it is managed and the location. We would never stay there again.

We had a great time… The food is the steakhouse is wonderful. The room itself at first was on the first level and the water pressure was insufficient. We brought the condition up to the front desk and they were happy to switch us the next room. The water pressure was great after that. The kids loved the sideways elevator. Wish that the room had conditioner in the shower. Conditioning shampoo doesn’t quite cut it.

The room was very spacious for our family of five with a fridge, coffee maker and microwave available for usage. The lady at the front was very welcoming and informative. The breakfast had a variety of yummy foods to choose from. The only thing we didn’t like was the loud A/C in our room.

Room was great for our family of 4. I don’t like the frosted glass bathroom door though.

Rooms looked great and were ok. However, our air conditioner didn’t work. I called the front desk and she gave me some bs response. I had two babies and a 18 month old and we needed the room to be cold. Oh well. Disappointed that there wasn’t a fix or a different room offered.

My family have been on a 2 week road trip where we've stayed at several hotels. By far, the worst experience in all our stays. To begin, the front receptionist wasn't too friendly. I had to ask all the basic questions that normally are conveyed upon check-in(Breakfast times, amenities in property, etc). Appeared bothered when we asked questions. Gym- No towels inside fitness center, water tank completely empty, and empty sanitation rags in canister. Breakfast- Absolutely the worst breakfast in our road trip. Eggs were soggy and extremely undercooked. No more yogurt and coffee was watered down upon arriving at 8:30 am (Breakfast was until 9). A ton of people in breakfast room but only one toaster and one side of the toaster was broken. Room- No shampoo and bath washing gel inside the shower canisters. The pull out sofa bed mattress was disgusting. There were stains that appeared to be blood on mattress. The AC was not functioning properly and the room was extremely hot and made our sleep very uncomfortable. Overall, a horrible experience.

Our stay was very comfortable. Clean and modern rooms with great features. The only negative I have to say is the room temperature. The thermostat was controlled and could only be set to the coldest at 68 degrees. My family and I prefer a very cool sleeping temperature so it was hot for most of us during the night.

This hotel was very unclean, it was flea infested , me and my family received bug bites and suffered terrible allergic reactions. The staff did not reach out to us about the situation , our problem was practically nothing to them , terrible hotel and terrible service. Unsanitary and disgusting
