Hampton Inn & Suites Artesia

Your hotel customer reps were very nice and willing to help. Nice when you walk in. Hotel room was ok. Has a musty smell to them tho. Our room had a crack down the wall next to my bed. Love that they had shampoo, conditioner, and lotion alreasy in the bathrooms. Shower head needs a good cleaning. Not much water pressure. Pretty quiet, besides the kid that kept running up and down the hall way. The beds are super hard. Didnt sleep much, and i was achy when i got up. I Was upset when i came down at 8am for breakfast and there wasnt anything left, so i only had a glass of apple juice.

Booked this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub and it was CLOSED our whole stay. This is frustrating when traveling with kids and you tell them there is a pool. We were told it may open in the evening and they would let us know and then heard nothing. Everything else around stay was great!

We arrived around midnight, after a day on the road with family, the woman who checked us in was incredible! She was so helpful and accommodating. Who raided the hotel mini store and she brought individual microwaves to each of the rooms we reserved and made sure we had everything we needed. I wish I would’ve gotten her name but she was working overnight 9/14 with dark hair. Hampton please give her a raise or some kind of reward.

We came from out of town to a special event from the FLETC graduation, and I specifically chose this hotel for in-door heated pool so my kids would enjoy. The pool temperature was really cold and not working. I had called twice in advance just to double-check about the heated pool, and was told it was working when it wasn’t. I paid top dollar and got the most expensive hotel in Artesia for it not to be working correctly. My family was really excited about the heated in door pool, but ended up being a waste of money.

We came for a family holiday and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were clean, great breakfast, and very good customer service.

With 4 grand kids for Spring Break. Our room was spacious & the front desk person was very friendly on all of our request.

Great sized rooms and location. We stayed 5 nights and NOT ONCE did our room get cleaned. We were there 24-25 of December which I understand is Christmas and the staff was with family BUT the other days we never got a nice cleaned room nor new towels.

When we checked in they gave us our rooms key but the room wasn't ready. When we entered in the room the bed wasn't made and there was a paper bag in the desktop. I had to wait until the room was cleaned up. At night I called to ask for an extra towel (my reservation was for 3 people and there were only 2 towels in the room) and they were not able to take a towel to my room since they are short staff. They said if I wanted a towel I had to go to the lobby to get it, I explained I was traveling with two little ones that I could not leave alone in the shower but there was nothing they could do.
