Best Western Pecos Inn

In town for a family reunion. Have stayed at this hotel many times in the past for the same purpose. Always a welcoming setting! The restaurant name has changed since I was here last. The pool and hot tub are closed for maintenance but it does not affect us this trip. It’s convenient and has many lounging areas for small gatherings.

The All Star's booked at this Hotel for the pool. Pool was closed due to cleaning and has not been reopened this is what the kids look forward to. Not cool makes you wonder if they closed it on purpose due to all the kids in the hotel. The air conditioning was not working in the lobby and hallways, so it was very hot

Hotel is nice, clean, friendly. I have stayed there several times. Breakfast has been great every time I've stayed. On this visit, the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance, from the looks of things it may be down for a while. The kids were really bummed out about that. If the pool is important, probably best to inquire if it's open or not before booking.

The location is safe and convenient. Cher in the restaurant was particularly helpful and I greatly appreciate her. The front desk staff were all kind and helpful. The handicap room had some very good equipment. However, the water was scalding! Didn't matter how you turned the knobs, you cannot get the temperature right. Then, if the temperature will change mid shower, likely because of others showering or flushing toilets. The lighting in the bathroom is terrible for putting on makeup and the little entry also has no lighting. We had family in two other rooms who experienced all of the above. Really need to update lighting and fix that water issue - that could be very dangerous to a child or handicapped person. Finally, the security needs to be improved. The card access on the doors behind the billing are non existent. Anyone can come and go without a hotel key. It appears that there used to be a card reader on the doors, but they have been ripped off or taken off.
