Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Deming Mimbres Valley, an IHG Hotel

Pool closed. It was greeeen. Looked like the pool closed sign has been at front desk for a while. Not sure if or when they’ll reopen it. When I mentioned disappointment at the pool being closed at check in she offered right away we could arrange a full refund even though we booked third party. Fam was bummed that breakfast didn’t have meat options or fresh cut fruit. They said tots and eggs weren’t hot. I was fine with the options. We used the gym since it was a long drive from Texas and it was so hot in there. Like ac wasn’t working. And there were no wipes to wipe down equipment. Rooms cooled great though, spacious and beds were comfortable. And it was quiet aside from the ac making some weird noises. Weird room across from us that was made into a storage room but had no door handle so our kids could have easily gone in there. All in all it was nice to have 2 rooms for the six of us to have our own bed. Wasn’t connected but next door and on the first floor. Not sure we would stay again though cuz it was sketch and not super clean and my allergies and asthma were acting up really bad. Looked like there was mold in the bathroom too. (Rooms 106 and 108)

The staff are awesome! Friendly, approachable. My stay was during a very stressful time in my family and the staff was so gracious and helpful. The hotel is well maintained, clean, rooms are spacious.

Very family and pet friendly. The hotel was very clean inside and out. The room was spacious. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was AMAZING... Full hot buffet. They had an excellent Pet area outside close to the entrance, and was well-lit. Parking was a little tight but had lots of parking.

The rooms were not very clean. Housekeeping never made it to our floor and we spent several nights here. Checking in was simple and fast. Checking out, I was told to leave an email and due to leaving relatively early we couldn't get a printed statement, kinda weird. We had other family members stay here as well and left with covid symptoms. When they went to get tested, they were positive. We carry lysol and clorox wipes to be safe but its annoying we couldn't do early check-in because they were "cleaning" but the rooms were not clean. Breakfast options were good but not great. Walmart and Dollar Tree were nearby so that was very convenient.

Very nice, met family there and used hotel as home base to run and see sights.
