Sonesta ES Suites Somers Point

Room was clean. Toilet paper holder in upstairs bathroom had one side ripped off wall. The front door strike plate was held on by 1 screw and hanging down and bent so it actually did nothing. Plate in microwave was missing for the turntable. Closet doors in downstairs bedroom were off the tracks. Ceiling fan in downstairs bedroom did not function. Had a key problem were we git back after 11 and lobby was closed. It was pouring rain and i had to call the AGM at midnight to come and make new keys for me and 4 kids and wife were on rain. Keys we're made but they didnt wirk so had to go back down in the rain to grt ones that finally worked.

This was our third time staying at this location. Unfortunately they do not have the daily hot breakfast as they did in the past. The location was recently sold and looks like will be closing soon. Other then that are stay was great. My family stayed in the loft good space and everyone was comfortable

I loved the scenery ( being a city guy). Nice and quiet for me and my kids

Checked into room 824 and discovered mirror off wall on second floor and a hole in the wall, red stains on the rug, rust in first floor tub and ants, front door to room severely damaged and in need of a Fresh coat of paint. Front desk moved my family room 1024 and was not aware of damage and issues with 824. Items should have been reported by cleaning staff and addressed Room 1024 was a little better but again discovered ants and hinges on lower kitchen sink cabinets left side were off. When we arrived on 8-28-23 there were two trash bags filled with trash on the sidewalk outside of the steps to 1024 and the trash was still there when we checked out on 8-31-23.\ Staff at front desk were fine but I was astonished when I reported the ant problem in both rooms and was informed that the management was aware of the situation and would be addressing it. Very poor experience and I will never return to the Sonesta in Somers Point or any of their affiliated hotels. I would not recommend Sonesta to anyone.

We had the family suit with the second level upstairs and down stairs. It was everything we could have asked for and more. My family really enjoyed the pool. We came to the area for my sons 4th birthday. We visited Storybook Land which was about a 15 minute drive away. Our stay here was very nice.

I’ve always loved staying at the Sonesta. It’s like home away from home. Our kitchen trash was full when we arrived, that would be our only complaint. Loved the high ceilings, even though with a baby it was a bit terrifying especially with the stairs. Two bathroom were super convenient as well.

In the area to see family the service was excellent. Our air conditioner broke we were moved to another room. Any requests were taken care of. The building is older could use a facelift but clean.

Getting a 2 bedroom suite is rare so was great option for this family of 4. The king bed was on loft level was nice though you hear any sound from lower living room level but entire suite was beautiful spacious decorated and very clean so that was fine . Would have been good get directions on coffee maker and dish washer but fully stocked full kitchen with kitchen table was awesome so nice for those who wanted to eat in and hav much space for eat in whether cooking or ordering takeout. Pool while not huge was clean and well kept. Free buffet breakfast was awesome. But mind you be prepsref to wait for refills if you dont get there early. Only little request take 1-2 of breads and add muffins like blueberry :) but compliments to the hard working chef. Also the handman was very efficuebt and nice on time needed for minor repair. Appreciate the front desk rectifying the early checkin mixup as well.

The property is great for staying with family and if you have pets. The staff is really nice and costumer service friendly. Overall I would stay here again. The bedrooms were clean and were in good condition (considering they allow pets) great place
