Embassy Suites Newark Airport

Got to hotel very early around 6am as our flight landed at 5am. Requested from the gentleman at reception if we could pay for a room if he couldnt accomodate myself and family so early. Hinestly didnt seem to helpful but at the chamge of shift i spoke to Dorothy and within an hour she checked us in. She is an absolute gem. Property is a no frills no fuss hotel but cleaning could be much much better. Other than that no complaints. Will stay again

The suites were huge and spacious. The staff was incredibly friendly. If there was a downside, it was being unable to reach room service to order food. But even that worked out well … we walked to Ruby Tuesdays and ordered food that we brought back. I would definitely bring my family there again!

Hotel always been one of the best stays me and my family come to and im so happy to know the pool will be finally opening my kids are extremely excited even though its under renovations for the better 😊

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting NYC. The hotel was clean and the room was great for our family of 5. The hot breakfast every morning was a plus. The staff interactions were great. Will definitely stay agin if in the area.

We booked months in advance because the hotel has a pool for our three young children. When we arrived, we learned that the pool was closed. If we had been notified in advance, we would have stayed at another hotel. We were not offered a refund.

Even though the Staff and rooms are great, the constant noise of planes taking off is unbearable… exhausted family could simply not rest at all…

Let’s start with the positive. Breakfast options and taste were good. We all (7 of us with two rooms) enjoyed the made to order omelets. 🙂 The chairs in the dining area for breakfast are peeling. We arrived late due to a 22 hour drive. The check in was easy but lady at front desk was not that friendly/welcoming. She gave us out ticket for breakfast which did not include the correct number of guest in our room. When asked about it she said the room would cost more and I told her I included the number in the reservation. She then said just show it and they don’t really look at it. There were no sheets in the room for the sofa bed so we had to go get them along with extra towels. Since it was late we all showered and went to bed. In the morning we noticed baby roaches over the sink in the main room. The front desk was apologetic and changed our room and of course we had to go back down to get extra towels and sheets for the sofa bed. We were there 2 nights for a business trip so only need somewhere clean and comfortable. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable but after seeing the roaches we slept on top of the covers with our own blankets.

Great place to stay with kids.

After a lengthy return from a family vacation and severe delays, it was nice to be welcomed to the hotel by a very nice group of employees.

This hotel is FILTHY. From the lobby to elevators, straight up to the rooms and inside! The staff is rude and unbothered by the filth consuming this place. My family was forced to sit in the filthy lobby for two hours waiting to check in. We missed our event that we traveled here for as we had to sit in filth for two hours after the check out time. And was not in fashion compensated for the major inconvenience.
