Virgin River Hotel and Casino

You get what you pay for! This hotel is out dated but not to bad. The pools are very small and old and because you get what you pay for you also get the type of people to deal with. There were a lot of gross things we witnessed around the pool, one time we went to get in the hot tub and there was dog poo in it. Another time a family took there child out of her swim diaper and rinsed her off in the pool. The rooms do not come with things you might have become use to in US hotel rooms, there is no fridge or microwave and no coffee maker. The casino is great and seems better than the others however there was a cocktail waitress that was a total and complete witch and she ruined the entire trip for us. She refused to serve us drinks if we were not betting the max at dollar machines, most the slots in this casino are penny or quarter so she basically refused to serve most people drinks. We were there for six days and she was the only one we ever had an issue with, she was such a witch and ticked us off while also embarrassing us to the point we left the casino. If you don’t get that waitress you will have fun. It’s more laid back than the crazy mess you might experience in Vegas and that’s what we wanted because it’s still lots of fun. We love the bowling if you go on Friday or Saturday after ten you get four dollar games and two dollar drinks. The bowling alley is great. We didn’t go to the arcade this trip but it seems pretty fun as well. Overall good.

Off the freeway. Good restaurants and very friendly staff. My kids had a great time at the pool and arcade.

We got two rooms that had doors between them so we could fit our family. One room ended up having a toilet that didn't flush. The bar that holds the handle and the seal to flush was broken so luckily we had two rooms to be able to still have one toilet. The hotel just said they would have maintenance look at it after we left.

Its always a good time at the virgin river, my kids love the pool and arcade, and this momma loves the rates for our staycations! Also a big thank you to the housekeepers they are amazing! And so is front dest staff!

Convenient and fun for the entire family

The room was a little dingy and very dated. THe room was large with plenty of room to set up an office area. We brought our own table as there was just a small round table in the room. The dresser was small with a little TV on it. The sound on the TV could not be adjusted to a volume that could be heard over the AC unit running. The beds were comfortable and clean. They do need to pay more attention to the pool. There was a couple that didn't have a key so someone let them in. This couple then proceeded to let some very large family groups in who didn't seem to be staying there. The pool got very crowded and was very noisy with small children from this group spashing and yelling. They also took almost all of the towels provided by the hotel.

Room was clean, beds were ok, pillows were hard and not comfortable even when doubling. The chain lock was broken, same as last time we stayed in a different room. Asked for towels and they were delivered quickly. Need more pools, too many kids splashing in the only pool they have. Food was good.

We love the Virgin River , our family has enjoyed this property for at least 40 years. It’s very clean , safe, reliable and the price is always great. However , your registration staff could use some training in smiling and making a courteous greeting to the clients. And a proper thank you for our patronage.

Room was reasonably clean but old. Floors creak big time. We registered for 2 adults 2 children but only had 2 towels.
