Hampton Inn & Suites St. George, UT

The hotel is very nice, but the staff makes the difference. They treat everyone like family and ALWAYS seem to go the extra mile for me and everyone else. The front desk does an amazing job, and the staff makes everyone feel welcome and almost like part of the family in the morning for breakfast.

My car auto locked by accident with my iPhone and my baby locked inside in 100 degree temperatures outside. Fearing for my baby’s safety I ran inside to ask the front desk to call my husband immediately. The woman at the front desk could not have been less helpful or less interested. I asked her to please call my husband or help me figure out how to use the house phone to call my husband so he could rush down and open the door. Instead of helping me, she proceeded to check someone into their room as I’m standing there in a panic. Thankfully my husband showed up within a couple minutes and opened the door. When I confronted the employee, she said “she was checking in another guest” and therefore couldn’t do more to help me. Sorry but helping someone in a situation like that should always take priority over checking someone into their room. The rest of our experience went fine but clearly some people shouldn’t be in a client / guest facing role. This experience left a very bad taste in my mouth for rest of our stay.

We typically stay at a family members home but space was unavailable. Hampton Inn was conveniently located and was open to allow our pet with a fee (understandable). Our stay was wonderful.

We stayed here as we are in the process of moving to St. George in this next year and we had a great stay! The front desk staff was very nice and upgraded our rooms without us asking! We will stay here again and will have family stay here once we move here as well!

Excellent property in a new growing part of St George. The indoor pool is excellent! And the outdoor spa and fire pit area is a great hangout spot. They are pet and family friendly. Huge snack selection in the lobby, nice fitness center, and warm, free breakfast every day. Coffee and hot water/tea at all times in the lobby area. Very welcoming staff!

I was so pleased with this property! We spent a week traveling between Utah to California staying in various resort style and boutique hotels with the Hampton being our last stop on our way home. I think I can officially say we are the Hampton Inn type of family. It was so much more our vibe. No charge for parking, free breakfast, the rooms were cleaner, bigger and nicer than any other place we stayed. And I cannot say enough about the desk staff. So friendly and accommodating. My little one was learning to swim and I asked for late checkout so we could go swimming again in the morning to build on the progress. The nice woman said yes, and that we were welcome to stay in the pool after checkout and gave us towels and toiletries to shower afterwards and offered to store our luggage. We go to St.George at least 2 times a year; this will be our go to spot from here out.

Nice clean and new hotel with pretty good breakfast. The one issue was the pool was super cloudy, my kids could hardly see their dive toys. It made our skin itchy. So the maintenance/chemicals could use some attention.

There were corners with dirt pushed into them that needed better cleaning. Barking dog across the hall, crying baby and kids running up and down the halls above us.

Typical great hotel room you would expect - comfy bed, warm shower, heat/ac works great. The property is new, staff said 5 years old, in a developing area, currently not much there. Allows dogs, but nothing additional provided for them. Great for families - breakfast is included, my kids like the waffle maker; we didn’t use but there is a pool there too. We also appreciated the Tesla destination charger on site.
