Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mesquite, an IHG Hotel

Great other than some rehabilitation messes. Great pool up on a hill. Whole family enjoys.

This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Was not stated on app that it is under construction and have the audacity to charge me 75.00 for my 4 lb Yorkie dog who has better manners and is cleaner than most children. DO NOT STAY HERE

Very Noisy.. running water of someone taking a long showering at 11:00 p.m.! People or kids running above us at night. Walls\ceilings, in need of insulation against noise. They're in the middle of a remodel, hopefully they address the issues. Kicker was, we had to take a COLD shower in the morning. 75.00 pet fee required for a room that's in need of a redo. When I complained about the shower, I was asked if I had a rewards number as she would give me points on my acct, Would of preferred a monetary credit as I won't be staying at the hotel again..

Jeremy at the front desk was awesome. Very nice to see friendly front desk help. Unfortunately couldn't use jacuzzi due to over crowding of children. Disappointing.

Poor communication within staff. We were put in the wrong room, accused of no reservations, had to get my kids and husband out of bed to go figure it out with the staff downstairs. Called us at least 10 times for complaints of noise, my kids were getting in the bath and were being calm. It was very inconsiderate and frustrating on everyone.

Always a great stop halfway on our trips to see family. Breakfast is the best.

Kids running down the halls all night long got woke up to kids pulling the fire alarm and had to evacuate the hotel wait outside till fire department showed up and cleared the hotel staff acted like it was no big deal i just got to sleep after driving for 16 hours

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, as many in this city can be really gross. The staff was friendly, check in was quick. We stayed in a king suite with a pull out couch. The room was in good shape for its age and the sheets were soft and clean. We did have several broken floor tiles in the bathroom. The pool area was spacious but the splash pad was padlocked and looked like it hadn’t been used in a while so my kids were disappointed with that. Breakfast was okay, but there were a lot of standard options. Overall I would rate our stay a 3.5 out of 5.

Nice property. Staying on the 3rd floor when the party above you has children running for hours makes the stay uncomfortable. The noise level was really bad.

Everything about this hotel was OK to good. The staff was wonderful, the grounds were nice and everything seemed great. BUT...The rooms shared every noise from every other room in the building. Apparently when this place was built they had not yet invented sound proofing. We stayed here because it is a pet friendly hotel, but even with pets in the rooms you should not be able to hear them 5 to 10 rooms away. It is a hotel where people stay when they are just passing through and there are a LOT of young kids most of whom have been cooped up in cars all day. It is understandable that they would have some pent up energy but the noise didn't stop until way passed midnight and started again before 6:00 am. We were scheduled to stay again on the way back through the next weekend, but just couldn't take it again. We had to find a different room for the night.
