The Orleans Hotel & Casino

Our stay was to capture family time and it was accomplished. Every one was happy and will be returning back soon

Our trip was to visit with family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Orleans. Staff was kind and informative as well as pleasant. Room was clean and neat. We enjoyed many of the amenities the hotel provided. Thanks for a comfortable stay.

My stay at the Orleans was fantastic. The one thing that stood out significantly was the how courteous the staff was. From the attendants at the check-in desk, security staff, restaurant staff, coffee shop staff, you name it, they were all frondly and always greeted me, no matter the time of day. As far as food goes, Ondori was the standout. Being able to mix Japanese and Chinese cuisine was just perfect for a family style meals. The portions were quite large, and well worth money....the taste and service levels elevated the meals to the next level. I wanted to also mention Big Al's Oyster Bar.... food is great and it was nice to enjoy meals without feeling rushed. It's a great place to enjoy a quiet moment from the casino floor. My room was large and clean. matress was firm, best of all the AC worked perfectly. I ended up going outside in the 110+ heat quite often so it was nice to make brief retreat too a nice and chilled room. Being offstrip, the hotel and casino offers everything for families without really the need to leave the property. Movie theater, arcade, bowling alley, cafeteria area with burgers, pizza, subs, and ice cream is available. Most of the restaurants are open till about 10, cafeteria till about midnight. TGI fridays was the only place that might be open later. There is a great irish pub across the street that is open 24hrs. The only negatives is that there were issues with the elavators and escaltors working properly

Check In was a pain. Hospitality Representative seemed rather unfriendly. But we did get checked rather quickly. Getting the luggage to the room was hectic. It felt like valet service was being forced upon you. You couldn't get a luggage cart by yourself. If you wanted a luggage cart you had to have a bellhop help you otherwise you tote your luggage to your room yourself. Last negative comment is there are no mini fridges in the rooms but they are available for a $15/day fee. So upon check in I really felt I was getting nickel and dimed to death. Positives: Room was large enough and quiet to allow you to relax. Got a good night sleep both nights. Casino floor was laid out nicely and the amenities offered on site are plentiful. The prices at the Food Court area I found reasonable for a casino property. Also it seemed like they had lots to do for family activities. Overall after a rough check in the stay was pleasant and comfortable and I would consider staying here again next time I am in town.

The surroundings were always clean. From the moment we arrived Jeff at Valet Parking gave us service with a smile. Also, David who took our luggage was friendly and gave us service with a big smile. Our room was so spacious and the view of the pool was nice. I would definitely come back and bring the rest of my kids and granddaughter.

Easy simple check in Thursday night with desk help, friendly staff, got extra sheets right away. Food court choices perfect and good hours, kids loved movie theater, and we all liked the arcade. Room size for four with seating area was great. Pool area nice even if loaded with kids but would have been more enjoyable with adult only pool too.

Great staff all around. Had a great time with the wife and kids.

Sleep was good showers were awesome and everyone was friendly courteous and I would recommend family to visit

The check in was smooth. The kid at the machine walked me thru the process and even helped me get a late check out. I was happy so I made sure he was too. Service like that doesn't exist anymore.

While the hotel had clean rooms with good amenities, the hotel was noisy and there was a lot of smoke on the casino floor. With a history of asthma, this was not a good thing. Also, parents were not watching their children and they were running in and out around other customers of the casino and tripped handicapped people. The same children were also noted to be running on the casino floor with no supervision and the parents were told that their children should be left alone and should not be on the casino floor. They only laughed when told.
