The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa by Marriott

An amazing Vegas option for family with small kids. Since I’m not a gambler and smoker but still enjoy LV once in a while. This is just the perfect hotel for us, although there’s some room for improvement. The overall decor was beautiful Morrocan theme. Staff were friendly however front desk didn’t give much information besides giving room key and telling us how to get to the room. The rooms are clean but a kind of due for an upgrade. There’s a musty smell in the room as you walk in, the hallways smell really good though. Beds are comfortable. We got the lake view and it was gorg to wake up to. The bathroom door did not open after it was locked on the inside, my 4 yr old daughter got stuck inside the bathroom, we had to call maintenance to open the door. Pool was large and there’s a fun slide for kids and they actually station lifeguards in each pool which was great however it needs a good cleaning maybe before they open it for swimming? We found dead bugs and an empty water bottle in the corner. I was looking forward to being able to paddleboard and kayak as there’s a little lake beach area however found out it’s only open on the weekends. Our kids enjoyed our stay here and we’ll most likely come back on the next Vegas trip.

The Westin Lake Las Vegas is the best resort i have ever been. Nice, clean, quiet. The stuff... very friendly, especially at the frond desk. Me and my kids had amazing Mother's day there.

Really good place to stay with you family

Loved every minute and aspect of our stay. The staff was friendly, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the pool was awesome! With separate pools, the resort is accommodating for both couples and children.

Beautiful resort and perfect for our family. Suggestion double beds should be changed to queen beds :)

Lovely location, food and staff! Great environment for family and dogs as well. Would love to come back again soon.

This was the second year a group of about 15 of us stayed here over the July 4th weekend. Most of us have younger children. I sat at the pool from 10-6 two days in a row. I was hoping a waitress would serve us we didn’t have to leave our things pool side. I asked multiple times for service so I could feed our children or get them a drink. I was told by the waitress that she can only serve us if I had a cabana. We tried to order food from the pool and the staff decided they didn’t were done serving food before they were scheduled to. One of the parents had to speak to a manager just to order chicken fingers. Some mothers were told to walk to the restaurant and feed her kids then come back to the pool. We end up buying a cabana so we can get some sort of service and we still had to walk to the bar just for drinks. We all work in the hospitality industry. This experience was horrendous. We wanted to make this weekend an annual thing. Sadly we will never stay there again.

A superb location on the lakeside, the whole property is elegant and has a high end feel. Rooms are large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The toiletries provided are good quality. The grounds reflect the attention to detail when this hotel was built, superb.. The pools are both large and set in a great landscaped garden.The child friendly lower pool even has a waterslide. We enjoyed our peaceful stay and were sorry to leave even though we are moving onto the las vegas strip..

Welcome Las Vegas? Well if you don’t want to gamble on the best stay where you will feel rejuvenated every morning and energized through tout the day. This is where you should stay. If you want you young children to be with you but maybe not subject them to what Las Vegas is known for; then this is place for you.
