Comfort Inn & Suites Henderson - Las Vegas

Loved that I was within walking distance of the casino/sports book! Property was very quiet and close enough to Vegas but far enough out with a family that you didn't feel like you were inundated with noise.

We were not informed before or during check-in that the pool would be closed for 4 weeks. In fact, in the "info" they gave us with breakfast times, wi-fi code, etc.- the pool times were listed. We only learned of the closure after our children wanted to use the pool. We asked for a refund and to check out and were told that we'd have to talk to management the next day. The pool was one of the only reasons we chose this hotel. We ended up calling the 24 hour Comfort Suites number and after some hassle, checked out and moved to a different hotel.

I read the reviews, so I knew what I was getting into by choosing a room on the older side of the hotel. We came as a family so my husband and sons could dive at La Jolla Cove and we just needed a decent place to sleep. That’s what the older side is. The room was spacious (we had the 2-bedroom suite) for our family of five. They made an attempt to decorate it stylishly, but that didn’t mask the unpleasant, musty smell or the dingy carpet. It was clean enough, though, and it did the job. The location is right across from La Jolla Cove and could not be better if that’s where you need to be. Just make sure you’re aware of what type of room you’re getting and you’ll be fine.

My family and I stayed at a few hotels in the area, this one is the best! It’s clean, safe, quiet and close to everything!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY. Manger Diamond is out to make it as difficult as possible to check in. I called the property the day before my family arrived to make sure that they would be able to check in and replace my card for the room rate and deposit without me having to be there. I was told yes. Pretty standard, but I had to ask. Before my family even arrived in town I received a call from the property to tell me that they had to run a credit card for check in BEFORE 4pm or they would have to release the rooms. I thought that was strange considering I was under the impression you could check in anytime after the check in time like any other hotel. She told me she needed to speak with someone to take their payments over the phone to secure the room before 4pm. As strange as it was I told her I would have them call her back shortly if that’s what she needed. To my total shock I receive a call from my brother a few minutes later saying that someone named Diamond was threatening to cancel the reservation saying that one of us would need to be there in person with ID before 3PM now to secure the room because she was sure we were committing fraud? Excuse me? Very long story short she was completely unreasonable about the whole thing and extremely rude to us for no reason whatsoever. How can someone like this lead a customer service team? No other hotel I booked for my family this weekend asked this of us or treated us this way. Never staying here ever again.RUINED my weekend.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay, even if it was only for one night. We will definitely be using this chain of hotel again. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of foods.

Staff was amazing, very nice and clean. Will stay there again, have family in Henderson. Two thumbs up!

Comfortable for our family of 4. Enjoyed the live music at happy hour.

Staff did not bring us more towels after requesting them twice. They also hid breakfast items they once used to put out, in the back and only brought it out if they saw you had a child. Been there many times it has changed a lot in one month. Service and care for it’s guests have went down. We requested a paper plate at the desk for our pizza and they told us to go to the gas station. Yikes!!!!
