Best Western Hoover Dam Hotel

The person who checked us in was so helpful & kind! The room was exactly what I thought it was going to be. My family of 4 (7 & 10 year old kids) shared the pull out couch bed in the suit style room. Breakfast was great!

Pool was closed. We booked this hotel online because of the pool for our kids to play in after a long day of driving. Bathtub had no plug. New plug was given by receptionist. Did not quite fit. Breakfast was okay. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

I've stayed here several times already and it's the best value for visiting family in Boulder City.

Everything was clean and check in was easy. My kids loved the pool. The only disappointing thing was we chose this hotel because of its free breakfast which makes traveling so much easier with toddlers . Unfortunately, no one told us until we went down to eat that there was no breakfast after all. Wouldn’t have been a big deal but with they would have let us know during check in that that wasn’t accurate .

Our room was very clean and renewly remodeled. In a nice area and great for families. The new girl at check in was so nice and friendly.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a nice experience. The rooms were clean and the staff were excellent and welcoming. The only complaint was that the people staying above us were noisy and would stomp around. We were on the ground floor. Great place to stay with kids and the Hoover Dam is only 15 mins away!

The hotel overall is nice. the room was nice and clean. Here are the issues that we came across: Maintance: jacuzzi was freezing cold, we had to ask for them to turn it on. The pool was also super cold. We got this hotel becuase of teh jacuzzi and pool for my kids. Im glad we asked them to turn it on. Im sure other customers didnt and just did not use it. Also the elevator was a crap shoot. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. Breakfast: they give you a boucher to use the restaurant across the street. Which I think is a great idea. But the servers there don't like to take care of hotel guest so there fore they treat you like crap. The first time we ordered extra things off teh menu and the server forgot to ring them up. We were in a hurry so we could not wait for them. Still left a 20% tip to teh value of the bouchers. The second time around we were literally treated like crap, even worst than the first time. Super rude. So I left no tip. Hot water: the last morning before check out we tried to shower but we had no luck with hot water, so no shower for us.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kids loved the pool and spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was exactly as described on the website. The hotel is a bit dated but well-maintained. Rooms are clean, beds etc all decent. There is a EV charger on premises which was important to us. The gym is small but functional. The pool is small and at the time was crowded with kids, so we didn’t get to swim. Breakfast was very basic but serves the purpose and you can grab it with you if you don’t want to eat it there. There is a bar called The Tap where you can watch football games, very convenient that it’s on premises too. The front desk staff is friendly and professional, special thanks to Katie, Tiana and Karen. We could tell they hire and train their staff well. Great hotel for those who want to visit Vegas but avoid the crowds and the Hoover Dam or on the way to the Grand Canyon! It even had the Hoover Dam themed wall art. Will stay here again for sure.
