The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel

Tried to call to cancel due to a family emergency and was left on hold forever

We stayed at this Marriott hotel for a Nebraska game weekend and a visit for a family member attending UNL. The room did not get to a comfortable temperature. We had it turned all the way down to 61 to cool it off and it never felt that it cooled down. When the room was cleaned for our second day, the beds were only made and the bathroom was never cleaned. New towels were provided but the sink and mirror was not cleaned and new glassware was not provided. We had an empty toilet paper roll with out any back up. I would think that a bathroom would be on the list of cleaning every day. The rates were increased due to the football weekend. For a Marriott hotel, which we usually can count on being 4 stars, this was disappointing for the cost that we paid. I will say that the hotel bar and food were good with nice staff.
