Wingate by Wyndham Great Falls

The front desk people who works the night shift would not let my son in even though he knew all of our information we were in a different town and it’s a good thing he knew who to call he is young also when our kids were swimming the front desk person kept coming in there and talking about my little two year-old nephew saying he hast to go for screaming. He’s a baby having fun screaming then they said there’s people trying to sleep by the pool. The pool closes at 10 o’clock. it was not even close to 10 o’clock, we will never stay there again. We had just lost my nephew the day before and we were getting out of town to be together

Property is quite dated and a bit run down but kept very clean. Booked because of the pool but it was not in great condition and not suitable for little kids. Doesn't look like a great area of town. Not the best value for the money. We did enjoy the breakfast!

The hotel itself wasn’t bad and the staff we did see (late check in, early departure) was friendly. The room was COLD! Air conditioner left on high and lowest temp. Took along time to warm up. Not something you want to do at midnight. Room was really dirty. Clean sheets, clean toilet but it was clearly not vacuumed, mirrors look like the last guests had little kids that smeared goo all over them. Crumbs on the night stand as well. If it hadn’t been so late we would have left or asked to change rooms.

Stay was good but because i had a great falls address i was required to pay a 100$ deposite. I use this hotel when my kids come to visit as my house isnt big enough to house all my kids at once. Disappointed that people missusing hotel pools has ruined it for other people. I understand why they are requiring the deposit its just really inconvenient

Blood on the sheets. No privacy. Over an inch gap under the doors. Socks from previous occupants left on floor. These concerns have been brought to the attention of staff and general manager and I have been put off for the last two weeks. Keep your family safe and book elsewhere.

I was a bit worried about staying here after reading the reviews, but in the end I was glad we kept our reservation. This hotel is located well if you're looking for an option that is near shopping and dining options. The hotel looks to be frequented by couples and families. Our floor was occupied by a number of families, but was very quiet during the night time hours. The hotel has a basic complimentary breakfast with three hot items, cereal, juices, muffins and bagels. There's also coffee available and possibly tea as there was hot water, but I didn't see any tea bags. There's a carafe of ice water available all day. Check in was easy and we received the room type we reserved. The room is dated and definitely needs an upgrade, but it was clean and we had towels and very basic bathroom amenities. If you're planning on staying more than a couple of days, you may to travel with your own toiletries. Parking was never an issue and I felt safe while walking to and from our hotel room. If I was in the area I would stay again.

The hotel was dingy and dirty. The Friday evening staff was less than helpful and even uttered the phrase “I just work here” when our request to have our room near another family’s was outright ignored. The key card stopped working after the first day and required reprogramming. Honestly I’ve stayed at motel 6s that were cleaner and had better amenities. The breakfast was abysmal both mornings and not worth the effort of going down to the lobby. The pool was murky and uninviting to say the least.

We were hoping for a pool the grandkids could use after a long day in the car; we found a very small pool that was too cold for them to use. Very disappointing.

Every night our key card deactivated. Our toilet would've flush right, they came at 9 pm and took the lid off of the back and left it on the floor. We had to add water to the tank everytime we had to use it. The poor kid at the front desk, at night, spent more time apologizing to customers than just doing his job. We felt really bad for him. There is no housekeeping unless you request it. The breakfast was good and the location is convenient.

I booked 2 rooms fro our family. Room 212 and 214. The one room the dorr did not clse and latch. Had to always work with it to latch when leaving the room. the other room locked me IN the room. Deadbolt wouldnot release. I was able to pass my key under the door to the outside and if the key was released, the deadbnolt released. False fire alarm at 4:45 was a bit of a scare.
