We got in late but felt safe which us a concern with 4 kids They also gave me treats for our dog and bowls to keep. The only thing is, hotels dot com isnt clear that valet isnt optional. It is the only way to park there and if you have a lot to unload it does feel a little rushed.

Hotel is beautiful, you do have to valet park but that is down town for you, they have a bar upstairs which is wonderful. I really do not think the lobby/breakfast area is really family oriented, it is more for business people. There are a lot of high tops and couches, only a few tables for families to sit at with children. They do try to be family oriented by putting board games in the bar and some big blocks to play with downstairs.

The swimming pool was cloudy and cold. My kids were so excited when I told them we would be in the pool. Also, there was too much noise from one of the apartments. Had a hard time sleping. The staff was great and super helpful!

We came for a family vacation and a big selling point was the pool. It wasn't until after our cards were ran that we were told the pool was out of order and that the only parking was valet for an added cost. After a lot of time trying to get things figured out we requested that the parking fee be waived as our families were waiting in the cars for about 45 minutes while things were getting sorted out. It seemed like that was no problem to the guy at the desk and he gave us tickets marked at paid to hang in our windshields. Then the bill comes after checkout and they charged the parking to our rooms. Jerked around and nothing done to make up for it.

Our room had trash in it when we arrived. We called many times to the staff to ask for trash bags, extra washcloths and staff would say they would send them up but never did. We always had to go down and ask for what we needed. The breakfast staff were very unfriendly. We had to pay the same amount for parking even when we parked our own car and parked on backlot, as if the valet parked cars in the garage. There wasn’t an ice bucket in our room. Called staff, but never brought us one, so again had to go down and get one. There was no map of facility so couldn’t find the ice machine I asked for a menu of the rooftop bar at the front desk and they didn’t have one and weren’t sure what they served. The only good would be a few of the front staff were pleasant. We chose this hotel because it claimed to be family friendly but it felt like the children weren’t welcome.

The first night of our 2 night stay was good. Even though the room was incorrect the staff was helpful and fixed the situation. The beds and nice. My kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was good. Night 2 was borderline terrible. They put a DJ in their 7th floor bar and we had to listen to loud music and banging for hours. Even after we called the front desk, the music seemed to get louder. Even after the it ended at midnight it was hard for any of us to get much rest. Great hotel but steer clear of the top floors

My family and I recently frequented St. Louis (3-28-23/3-31-23) over our Spring break and stayed at Element Hotel wish will NOT be recommending to our family or friends. I left my wallet in our room during a day outing to Mizzou. We got an email notification that my HSA credit card and an additional credit card had been used at a clothing website called SHEIN. We filed police report but the hotel has done anything at all to rectify the situation. The general manager reassured us of an internal investigation and reimbursement for our stay to rectify the inconvenience, loss of trust and invasion of privacy that we had undergone during our visit. She said that she would be contacting us in the next few days to process the credit. We have yet to hear from her (and it has been over a week. We are extremely disappointed and hope this does not happen to anybody else. Do not stay in this hotel!

Sadly giving this beautiful hotel a 2 star rating. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, great amenities! Natural soap products in your room. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. BUT... we left the room in the morning to take our 4 very small children to get breakfast, realizing we left the valet ticket in my wallet upstairs, hurried back upstairs to get the valet ticket and our loaded cart with our belongings to leave. My wallet was nowhere to be found. Within 10-15 minutes someone has entered our deadbolted door that can only be opened with a our keycards that we're on us and stolen my wallet with my cash, kids insurance cards, debit and credit cards, and checkbook. Thankfully they weren't smart enough and used my cards at a gas station down the road. Someone that knew what they were doing got into our room within a small time frame, No damage to the door, knew exactly where to go and grabbed MY belongings. Also there are only cameras in the lobby? And Nowhere else in the entire building. Extremely inconvenient for us but extremely convenient for the Grinch that ruined our first family trip. Our safety was stripped from us by a beautiful hotel, and now I'm having to scramble a few days before thanksgiving to get replacement cards and everything else. A police report was filed and no help was offered to us by the hotel other than them offering to keep and eye out for it. Like I said, BEAUTIFUL hotel but do not recommend if you want to feel safe.

Very updated hotel. Lobby is cramped when trying to check in and people are purchasing pantry items. Pool and bar hours are not great. Would not recommend for kids. Walls are thin. Heard kid crying a lot next to us. Also parking is either inconvenient or dangerous for the valet as the unload is next to a very busy high speed street. If none of that matters then this place is great.
